MTA To Start Testing MCIs on Long Distance Lines

With the 270 bus order coming in, the MTA will begin testing MCIs on long distance routes similar to how NJT does. During the off-peak hours, the buses that are at the depot will be used. Not only will this be done for fleet management but will also be used to work on the buses being xferred to other depots.

So be on the lookout for that. (And those suburban Orion Vs)

If what you say is true, what is meant by "long distance routes"?? Would they still be used only on express bus lines or on local bus lines as well??
