Vandals Target Staten Island Buses

Via Garibaldi 8

Recommended Posts

According to NY1, several Staten Island buses were hit by vandals last night both along Narrows Road North between Hylan Boulevard and St. Johns Avenue. An X10, an S79 and another bus was hit. It is unclear what exactly shattered the windows, but the incident brings back memories of a similar incident along the same exact stretch of road less than a year ago where individuals terrorized passing express bus riders and local bus riders, pelting the express and local buses with rocks or BB gun pellets. After several days the individuals were eventually caught. This afternoon along Narrows Road South & Hylan, a bus shelter had one of its windows completely shattered as we passed by on the X10.

I hope these aren't kids on the street. Most suburban areas I can't stand becuz punk a$$ teenagers trashing stuff to the bus. Last I saw was someone hitting the bus with a rock.. on the Bx29 in City Island.

Worst was in Croton on Hudson on the W14 Bus when a bunch of kids "Mooned" at the bus operated and its passengers at night.. Those kids were REAL crazy..
