Shortline Bus Posted July 14, 2011 Share #2 Posted July 14, 2011 Good to hear. As I said either the BX23, or (Q50) should have at least 30-minute overnight headways 24/7 between all of COOP and the Pelham Bay Terminal.
Mysterious2train Posted July 14, 2011 Share #3 Posted July 14, 2011 This is definitely great for Co-Op city residents. A more cynical view is that the is simply re-adding the late evening service they removed when the Bx23/Q50 were first split from the QBx1. And now that Shortline Bus mentioned it, why doesn't the add 24-hour service to the Bx23? - It would finally give Co-Op City more than one bus line overnight (not counting the Bx12) - Potential overtime for night owl bus operators - The city foots the bill Bx23 late night runs sounds good, at least on paper... Its sad that there is no late night buses that will link Co-Op city to Pelham Bay.. The Bx12 doesn't run that late to Bay Plaza. (after 1 or 2am)
