Santa Fe via Willow Posted August 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2011 If I heard right (NYCT) might ground ALL buses & trains if winds get too high. Anyone know anything more?

LRG Posted August 26, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 26, 2011 Yup, my manager told me not to come to work tomorrow because all train and bus service will be halted tomorrow at noon and I don't want to risk being stranded in SI.
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted August 26, 2011 Share #4 Posted August 26, 2011 Yes, NY1 has confirmed that a 12:00 tomorrow afternoon, all service will be halted. Looks like no BM3 express bus for me to Sheepshead Bay tomorrow... I wanted a haircut, but I can wait until next week I guess. http://www.ny1.com/

Santa Fe via Willow Posted August 27, 2011 Author Share #7 Posted August 27, 2011 The SIR, or at least some of it, is parked on the Sharrott Ave overpass right near Waldbaum's & the Pleasant Plains SIR station, a block north of the Bloomingdale Rd/Pleasant Plains Ave/Amboy Rd intersection. Just drove by there before.
