Bx7 Extended to Yonkers?

Well I heard this while I was on the Bx10 bus today that the Bx7 will be extended to Getty Sq in Yonkers, but that wasn't the first time I heard this, then I go onto the net to see what I can find on that and Wikipedia says that it will be extented to westchester Sq in the third quater of 2008. Have anybody else heard this? Is that gonna happen?

They are going to see if it could work. But yeah, they have been saying the Bx7 will be going to Yonkers or Getty Square. Right now it's still up in the air so don't count on it yet.

Some of the buses have a code that displays YONKERS. Seen it on a Bx7 bus going N/B, while I was going S/B on my M100......Tomorrow I will see if I can get that code up (granted it is programmed in the bus I get).......

I too heard they were in talks of extending, but the official word had not come down, so It was one of those wait and see things for me. I like to wait untill I get the official word from an MTA employee. But It looks like it will happen then.

It should be something like "YBx7 TO GETTY SQUARE" or something like that, even tho Yonkers aint a borough...

More likely WBx7 or just Bx7... I think they should extend the Bx16 too.

No, it just has a huge sign that says YONKERS on the sign. Nothing else.....

More likely WBx7 or just Bx7... I think they should extend the Bx16 too.

They would still run the W20 for extra service. That casino is so popular, that they have an artic on standby in the S/B direction along Central Park Avenue.....
