Exactly, nothing rude about it at all. If a person wanted pics that badly, he can always see for himself or wait patiently for someone to upload a pic.

Dyckman to Knickerbocker is a long way away. I did take your second point and compliment the user who posted a picture of it here and you see the response I got above. Now, i'm asking once again for everybody to please let this go now.

I saw pictures of the station and I am a bit disappointed.

Not that the renovation was badly done, it look very nice but the fact that the station look very old fashioned.
The problem is not the station itself but the facilities of the station.

I have the impression that this picture could have been taken in 1980.

I like it when a station has that old-time feel.

Then you would have hated Kinckerbocker before it was renovated...b/c it was in bad shape. No matter what the current aesthetics are, it is still a vast improvement compared to what was there before. Could they have been more historical? Sure. But as GC said, the TA does not have an unlimited budget, and the community needed this station back ASAP.

As for the ticket booth, that is the standard design for 'em, I believe. It may not be pretty, it might be too utilitarian, but it serves it's purpose well enough. And for the TA and most people, that's what counts.

I used to be there every day, it looks MUCH BETTER than it was before. So what if it's old fashioned?

I think it's the concrete floor that does it...
