It was a short turn as a reroute back to Jamaica Center for ENY access but MTA Bus will be better knowledged to answer that question.

Now the next question is why the T/Ds dispatched that train via the IND QBL? It wasnt a M thats for sure...

Now I get it. East New York lacks a car wash, and the Canarsie car wash is down. That train was heading to Jamaica to be washed, thats why those cars were moving along the Queens Blvd Line. If thats the case until the Canarsie car wash is up and running again we will have to expect these sort of maneuvers for a limited period of time. This according to a MTA employee.

That makes a lot of sense. Didn't now the car wash was down there.

DOES THIS MEAN WHAT I HAVE BEEN HOPING SINCE 2009

R32S ON QUEENS BLVD! (Well not in service.)

I saw it once recently on a work train and it caught me off guard and at an inconvinient moment.

Thanks for the info.

Its possible. I would keep an eye out for it since the IND Queens Blvd Line is right in your hood. If you catch it definitely post!
