No, the pilots were the first 10 211As. The Ts are prototypes specifically for testing open gangway configurations. Everything else on the train is pretty much proven.

Hopefully it will come back to service tomorrow. Maybe it's in service today.

Ale188 Posted February 6 Share #7191 Posted February 6 UPDATE ON THE R211S AS OF 2/6/24 R211s in service R211A: 60 cars, or 6 10-car trains (technically 80 if it weren't for all those issues), all trains currently run on the line 4060-69, pilot, definitely needs to get washed 4070-74, 4115-19 4075-79, 4090-94 4095-99, 4130-34 4100-04, 4120-24 4110-14, 4125-29 R211T: 20 cars, or 2 10-car trains, all trains currently run on the line 4040-44, 4050-54 4045-49, 4055-59 Total amount of R211s in service: 100 technically, 80 currently All are at pitkin Other consists not in service yet and TBD sets R211A: 4080-84, 4140-44 4145-49, 4165-69, soon to enter service, BIT'd on 2/4 4085-89, still OOS; getting fixed 4105-09, other set TBD 4135-39, other set TBD 4150-54, other set TBD 4155-59, other set TBD 4160-64, other set TBD 4190-94, other set TBD 4195-99, other set TBD R211S: 100-104 Total amount of R211s not in service: 40 technically, 60 currently (not counting the R211S), 45 technically, 65 currently (counting the R211S) Notes: 4085-89 is still getting fixed unless otherwise. 4080-84 went into service on 8/17/23, but because of flat wheels, gearbox issues and then more cars from CIY after the issues, it paired up with 4140-44. 4135-39 went into service with 4130-34 in October (don't remember exact date), but 4130-34 left with 4095-99. So as of now, it's new set to pair up with is TBD, which is also why 4105-09 is TBD because it was paired with 4095-99. There are a total of 100 cars in service (4040-4139) technically, but let's see what 4080-84, 4085-89, 4105-09, and 4135-39 are up to after the gearbox, flat wheel issues, and other sets replacing them. So right now, there's only 80 cars, ranging from 4040-4079, 4090-4104, and 4110-4134. R211Ss do not connect with each other, they stay 5-car sets because it's Staten Island. They might switch them up, Ex. 170-126-147-103-169 but that would be stupid as it's fine being like this. Ex. 100-101-102-103-104 R211 Deliveries R211A: 4060-4169, 4190-99, 120 cars or 12 10-car sets; 4150-64, 4190-99 at CIY; rest of cars at Pitkin R211T: 4040-4059, 20 cars or 2 10-car sets; all at Pitkin R211S: 100-104, 1 5-car set; set at Clifton; will hopefully see service next month Total number of cars delivered: 145 Notes: Not much, just that there are many more to come, numbered 110-174, 4170-4189, 4200-4499, and more numbers TBD for the Option Order cars. R211s confirmed as built So, besides the ones that are already delivered to the city, here are the other ones that are confirmed as built. R211A: 4170-4189, 4200-4234, 55 cars or 5 10-car sets and 1 5-car set; All at Lincoln, NE at the Kawasaki plant R211S: 105-109, 5 cars or 1 5-car set; At Kawasaki Yonkers plant in Yonkers, NY, north of The Bronx; All remaining R211Ss will most likely get delivered to Clifton, not SBK Total cars built and not delivered: 65 Notes: There's probably more cars built, but so far, we got these guys. Add that up with the delivered cars and you get... 175 R211As (4060-4234); 265 under construction + 640 from Option Order I 20 R211Ts (4040-4059); completed 10 R211Ss (100-109); 65 under construction 205 R211s in total, still... (100-109, 4040-4234) And Many 44s and 46s to be replaced...May y'all rest in peace...starting soon... Notes: And Option Order II is still up for grabs between the As and Ts. We don't even know how many cars are in the order. It's either 333 or 437 cars, some 5 and 4-car sets. This will get revealed after the Ts receive some feedback on their features, and themselves in general, that way we know. It will take until maybe 2025 to see what's gonna go on. I did it again because like, there's so many updates for like no reason. Hope you like this!

Just curious, Is there proof of this? Because most of what i've been hearing is that its a glitch. Also if conquesters really did change it, then shouldn't the entire train be signed as last stop? Iirc it was only 4055-9 signed as (L), while 4045-9 was signed correctly.

It pulled into Euclid Avenue like that yesterday at 3:20 p.m. and got OOS'd at W 4 Street, to be sent to 207th. There was NO signs of force against the backdoor at all! It was a signage malfunction, officially.
