42 St Connection Project: Bryant Park

We're creating a new, in-system walking transfer between 42 St-Times Sq and Bryant Park. This will provide a free connection between the 1/2/3/A/C/E/N/Q/R/W and the 6 Av B/D/F/M lines.

The connection will be located closest to the 42 St Shuttle terminal area at Times Square, and the uptown and downtown B/D/F/M platforms at Bryant Park.

Work begins in February 2020.

OK, great; cool! (Since the last thing I heard made the passageway sound not completely certain).

Thanks!

If I were MTA, I'd leave the platform space near the 7th Av line open as part of a NYTM exhibition.

So does this plan include moving the GCT platforms closer to the Lex Line instead of that 1000 ft walk?
