UlmerPark B6 0 Posted March 27, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2009 Q44 being detoured to Throgs Neck is even worse. But that's the only other way. I rather have the Q44 skip the stops north of Flushing, immdediately go on highway, and skip a few more stops.

Dan05979 1,028 Posted March 28, 2009 Share #7 Posted March 28, 2009 1010 wins say it was a truck carrying a crane, whatever that means. Thats my biggest fear because i move heavy machinery on a lowboy like excavators and i'm always making sure i have the hoist (boom) low because if not it can turn out to be a major catastrophe like what happend yesterday. I wonder how many tickets the genius got.
RokuSix 3 Posted March 28, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 28, 2009 This is why buses such as the QBx1 need to be derived from Bronx depots. Bronx commuters should not have to rely on something that comes from another borough.

Maybe have the bus Eastchester depot should run the QBX1 and West Farms also 'share' with the Stengal/Flushing depot the Q44.

No thank you West Farms will not take Q44 as a split.....its should Casey Stengal and Jamaica Depots like back in the 1990's!

Queens and Bronx! Both sides suffer if the bus was ran out the Bx!
BJC 4 Posted April 1, 2009 Share #14 Posted April 1, 2009 I would've been mad if I got stuck on the Qbx1...I would've tell the driver let me out right here...''I will walk to Queens.''
