  1. The route is redundant; seventh avenue is already covered by the M7, M5, and the M104 (up to 41st street) and Broadway doesn't need bus service because there are so many viable options in the area (M1, M2, M3, M5, and the N and R). On top of that it is being converted to a pedestrian plaza so bus service would end up being inefficient. Again that's why I said it would be better to bring back the old M1 to south ferry
  2. You can't have the Q skip 86th street, that is where a majority of riders for that line would come from. Additionally if the Q skips 106th and possibly 116th it would mess up the spacing between the trains.
  3. 1). Would cost to much money+ most M10 buses empty out before the last stop anyway so you would have a lot of empty buses running around. 2). There was a good reason why M9 service was cut to that area; not enough demand coupled with the fact that there are decent transportation options in the area. 3). People from lower Manhattan actually use the M20 to get to places further north and they would prefer a one seat ride to get to their destination. 4). I would not suggest restoring the M6, if it didn't help out with anything back when it was running, it would not help out now. I do agree with you though when you stated that M5 should be cut back to GV. Additionally the M1 should go back to serving south ferry instead of the current M5 or your proposed M6. P.S. I realize that last response wasn't necessary geared toward the M20, I just wanted to give my two cents.
  4. On thing that I have noticed recently; the M101, 102, and 103 are running more efficiently. I would assume that the new buses have something to do with this miracle.
  5. I'm not a T/O or B/O but I can give you an answer. The drug test that give you, a 10 panel urine screen, detects everything in your system. I would advise you to tell the MTA in advance about your prescriptions so they can mark them off the results of your drug test.
  6. Well this is an interesting one 3331 from Baisley Park is at Eastchester. I saw it today on the BxM9 at 96th and 3rd avenue.
  7. Some of the RTS's from 126th street are having that problem too. I saw 9424 on the M31 a few days ago and it could barely make it to the top of the hill on 87th street. A lot of buses in Manhattan have been having problems lately.
  8. Whoever believes in the notion of sanity and who makes claim to it, is in fact insane.

Dude what gives, you deleted me off your forums friends list, im blocked and I cant message you?! What gives man? Please hmu dude! o_O...

  9. Well here is an update: The MTA blasted the Chase bank on the Northwest corner of 86th street for the SAS train station.
  10. Still that's not a reason to replace the motors; the MTA mostly likely will fix the motors up.
  11. It's going to be the same for obvious reasons. The MTA is not going to replace all of the fully functioning traction motors on 380 subway cars, that's just a waste of money.
  12. Whoops I ment the automated announcements on some of the 38xx's.
  13. I got some news for you guys: the MTA took out the clever devices out of 3800-3830.
  14. I love the young guys, they usually have a lot of charisma, and haul some serious ass when need be. The old fellows tend to be a little more conservative when it comes to driving.
  15. Well that's the same with all bus drivers out any of the MTA depots--you have the kind drivers and you have the rude drivers. Regarding your point on the Yonkers bus drivers; I just don't see them in the light that you are describing. As a whole, if we are going by generalizations, I would say that Yonkers bus drivers are quite, if anything. I have not encountered any of the events that you have described.
  16. That probably has to do with some of the people that those bus drivers have to deal with. For example I was on the BxM1 a few days ago and this woman wanted to get of at 93rd and 3rd because she missed her previous stop. The bus driver responded and said "I can't do that miss." She yelled at him. To me this is an example of how irrational some of these riders can get--especially because the next stop she could of used was 96th street.
  17. The sign probably wasn't broken; most likely the sign was in "resting" mode so that it lasts longer.
  18. Anyone wanna meet up I gonna be in Queens? Hit me up.

  19. 5861 and 5862 are at 100th street from Michael J. Quill. I caught both of them on the M86 today.
  20. 5849 is at Quill. Saw it today on the M79 while I was walking home from school.
  21. Wow I haven't seen 1234 in awhile, and didn't know that 1234's LED screen became dislodged. As for the bus that I saw, it was heading up 3rd avenue towards 126th street. The bus was not in service and it still in SelectBusService mode. I didn't know why it was OOS, so I assumed it was because of the LED (because that was the only visible problem with the bus). I do realize this an odd reason to take a bus out of service but, I do not know why it was heading down 3rd ave. to begin with. Maybe you could enlighten me.
  22. Quick question: Did 1258 have a dislodged LED? If so I believe I saw it heading towards 126th depot.
