So my mom's ranting about a proposed trip to New York City in October 2013 and how I am the only one that will get anything out of it... Great.

  ok, how long is the trip gonna be? If it's for a limited time, concentrate around 57th to 34th along Broadway and Lower manhattan from the Ferry terminal to the WTC/Ground zero site. If there's more time Central park and maybe a train ride to Coney island and back.

  The hotspots that I have checked out on my past two trips include Battery Park, Ground Zero, Beach 116th Street MTA, the Empire State Building, and the transit museum.

  and also Central Park. I really want to see the Museum of Natural History, the 7 line and any R42. The trip should have been about 3-4 days long, but I'm even less hopeful now because my little brother spilled a beverage over my dad's laptop, which is gonna cost a ton of cash to repair. Coney Island MTA is also somewhere I want to see.
