  1. Dude is lucky that some of the attendees didn't get seriously injured or worse considering that some of them were teenagers.
  2. https://abc7ny.com/union-square-crowds-kai-cenat-twitch/13599469/ So this page gives more info about what happened with the surprise event done by a popular influencer that was supposedly going to give away game consoles and other tech. Thousands showed up for that event, only for things to get out of hand. The influencer was there and was interacting with fans, though no giveaway was made. He tried to leave, but he was arrested. Other people in the area were arrested, with some being transported on an out of service M14 bus that were stuck in the area. Trains that normally stop at Union Square bypassed the station, even PATH trains on 6th Ave.
  3. The influencer was arrested for it. The only good thing, other than that, was that no one was seriously injured.
  4. Meadowlands does have runs on the 159 so its most likely that the unit is a Meadowlands one.
  5. There's still two years left and the buses themselves are sticking around for another 12+ years. Sure, Nova is leaving the US market but they're still going to provide support and parts for buses.
  6. It seems 7908 has returned to service (Don't know the specific day it did). It was out since late May after being involved in an accident on the B15.
  7. Small note, 5310 is a KB unit. Also, 5317 has been at Tuskegee since January. Its not part of the loans that came over during the past few days.
  8. Was there ever a depot assignment list even made? Last I checked, the only list shared was the number of units allocated to the Bus Co depots.
  9. I just looked at footage made public by local news outlets. The minivan definitely had it worse than the bus. Here's one to look at: https://abc7ny.com/nyc-mta-bus-crash-bronx-minivan/13539166/
  10. More Tuskegee loans have arrived: 1229, 5274, 5307, 5350, 5772, and 5843. Not sure how many are going to stick beyond today.
  11. From the images, it doesn't look like it received frame damage. They would just need to replace the engine covers on the back and side, as well as the rear light panel.
  12. The driver of the minivan ran past several red lights before crashing onto the Bx9. The driver was saved by people and family who were in the area, and he's well known as the driver lives nearby. Aside from the driver, 3 people from the bus and 3 from a sedan that was in front of the Nova had minor injuries. All are expected to be fine, even the driver of the minivan.
  13. 5878 has been sent to West Farms. And the Tuskegee loans keep happening with 5948-49, 5981-5984, and 5986 from Gun Hill now being there. 5302, 5305, and 5342 from KB are still at Tuskegee since yesterday.
  14. 1607 is also tracking for Morris on the 880. 1625 has stayed at Morris for a while.
  15. Its interesting seeing a bunch of Bronx Novas being sent down to Tuskegee every day. Just for fun, I compiled what's out there today alone: 5288, 5302, 5305, 5339, 5342, 5793, 5949, 5963, 5981-5982, 5984, 5986 (With 6210 from Hale). There's also the buses that have been there for a while like 5310, 5948, 5952-5954. Bronx depots did receive some Tuskegee units: 5833 & 5876 at KB; 5261 & 5926 at GH; 5914 & 5919 at WF.
  16. They've been slapping their depot decals on buses that they've received on loan from The Bronx. The 1200s that stayed for a few days got them before coming back up.
  17. 8775, 8796 (though its was claimed to be delivered), 8881, 8914, 8942, 8944, 8946-8947, 8949, and 8961 have yet to hit service.
