Well he was special to me....lol....I rarely took LIRR out of penn when i did Some of those crawled to jamaica...Dont know if was cause of train traffic, workers or whatever....
Facts....I can remember once instance when i was pushing for that 200am Q111 from parson from midtown right after a movie...Movie ended around 1250am...Their was a 1:10 next to jamaica and the next 5 mins before that...Not only did we beat that by like 25 or more mins...Whoever was the motorman that night man i wish i can always get...This guy was flying got us to jamaica in like 25 mins with the stop at woodside...My point is sometimes the extra few dollars spent on lirr vs subway might be worth it most of the time
Wow the still run like that....You would think by now they would have fixed the overnight slowdowns..I get u have to do the neccesary work but dam its been like this for like 15 years and with the new cars and signals nothing got better over there it seems...I been stop taken both whenever i have to go to jamaica that time of night...I either take lirr from Penn station for the extra few bucks or use the or to the
The few times ive taken the 46s since the swap i didnt come across an issues...that was a while ago as i avoid lines that run 75fts cause of the not being able to go to another car...yes i think B W should run them the most...mta can in my opinion help there reliability with other yards with high spares jamaica send a few ci and eny send a few to the C send there 46s to CI so there much worst 46s get fully repaired in the shop...
I agree...The R32s in my opinion was still in good shape despite there age...They not that older than the current 46s in service....And with this new signaling system being installed forced the best cars to go on some lines while others suffer thru breakdown etc... I agree that the 32s should have stayed in service until they was absolutely sure about the R211...
For real...lol...the 119 has everything running on it except mcis so far... mainly artics but nabis both surburban and transits from both greenville and meadow is on it...But that one monday evening i saw an MCI on the 123 and 125 and my only thought was cause of the takeover of the 119...But it wouldnt surprise me either if a MCI pop up on the 119 soon...
Once in a while youll see a nabi suburban pop up on the 320...Thats about it....i agree with you tho about the artics on the 320..Transit has an interesting way of how they use they fleet which Ii sort of like... i caught an mci on the 182 from GWBT and on my way back a nabi transit showed up 5676...back in the 90s mostly Flexible suburbans ran on the 320 with a few MCIS.. .Meadowlands now dont have enough artics to run on the 320 even if they wanted too cause of the 119 now...MCIS are now popping up on the 125 cause of the 119
It was hilton helping..the drivers where hilton not meadowlands...they might give hilton a piece of this 119 also during rush hours...im just amazed how quickly the 119 became an artic line...which is needed in my opinion...pretty soon MCIs gonna pop up on the 119
I Wonder how many T/O And C/D's complained before the NTTS Rolled in...Technology really spoiled most of these workers...Up until 2003 everything thing was manually done and service somehow moved smoothly without delays
Thats something i never understood about the 128...Line like that should run all day despite the other lcls over there....Most ppl ops for that anyway when it does run so it not like it wont have a goodridership base...
I think thats the law within the Tri State Area...Its ok for Mta and NJT workers to ride free on any agency...I think thats right..But Maybe 553 Brighton Could give a better insight on this
Whats so easier ending 3 trains at times sq rather than 14st...when the wtc got crushed and the Mta decided to send 1 trains to new lots 3 trains had no problem terminating at 14st...Why times sq at that time wasnt the southern term for the 3 being that going to 14 will be such overkill and the 2 on the lcl track..i only made the suggestion cause 14st and 34 offer key connections
