Thats basicly why i said in the post above about sending the 123 to jsq if the JSQ term requires two njt services to PABT and have the 119 skip it cause of what you mention....Only reason the 123 got extended to the hospital was because they took the 119 off of palisades..Back in the day when it ran as the 99S under drogin It had a couple of peak express buses cause of the ridership....By the time some buses reached duncan ave not even jsq its packed and none of the 99S stopped at the terminal either....Those few peak ran all the way down JFK to 32st skipping everything on palisades to the tunnel and vice versa
  2. On weekends that wouldnt be that bad...Christ hospital not that far from JSQ and the 125 runs terrible and that might boost ridership a little on the 123 in my opinion...To be honest the 119 should only stop inside the terminal is overnight with they stop the 10....

I get what your saying 100 percent and i agree...Fairview back in the day was just artics and 40fts suburbans with a few MCIs...Fairview lines isnt the only lines used by Mcis that suffers from the problems u mentioned above tho...NJT maybe should have ordered more artics rather Mcis.....So how do you fix this problem...Me personally trade some Mcis to meadowlands for some of their artics and 40fts...Otherwise they gonna stay at fairview cause what other garage can take them

The main arguement for what i saw is that Fairview dont need MCI...all i did was beg the differ..Its gotta be some what a benifit if they choose to send them there.....I cant speak for increase in ridership for the lines..I also touched on the fact that they also got 45 fts buses to train drivers who where used to 40 fts and nabis and the fact that fairview eventually gonna be a merge garage which also gonna require them...Thats the reason those 40 fts they do got is being moved...Me personally all fairview lines can have them....i also heard that market st drivers are starting to train for 45 fts from wayne

Thats no issue...Fairview has enough space...They started giving fairview 45 fts early last year to train the drivers on how to deal with 45 footers...Fairview also gonna be a merge garage in the near future with market st and oradell...Thats also a reason why Market street started to learn Fairviews routes..

Fairview always had mci's at they garage....It wasnt a problem then why it is now ....They still operate routes that still do require them...Same thing with Market st should have kept theres in my opinion ......Those nabis isnt as reliable as most here think...Trust me i know. Pleanty of breakdown over the years to and from NY and passergers and drivers started to complian about that..Drivers mainly had to keep getting up to close the back door....Basicly turning Nabis into MCI cause now everybody has to exit the front ....Mostly all MCI lines gonna have some sort of dwell time due to the one door in certain areas of the route...190 comes straight to mind...Yes Fairview has routes with tight streets etc...But they mainly have mci there due to reliablity issues due to NY being all they routes terminal...People like to get what they pay for...And people from those areas love they MCI's

Every trip doesnt stop there....And There are some key businesses back there that will make it hard to catch the buses in either direction and on wkends when the bridge is out they uses river term for service... So me personally i would continue to have the 1 serve that area the way it does...Now would i would do is eilimanate the 1 to river term from nwk and send it to jc...

  15. That was really never used as a 1 supplement more of a supplement to the 67 ....Once it left JSQ it hit 440/1&9 straight into nwk...Most if not all ppl at the JS wanting Nwk will op for path downstairs...That service had good ridership mainly in the warm months with only 2 a day leaving jsq

  17. Since transit took over these private lines they now seeing buses that never ran along the route which if you told me 10 years ago i wouldnt believed you....Other day took 5296 on the 8 bergen ave....lol

Yes i agree with most....The 9 should operate much better on weekdays and wkends...How they expect ridership to grow back on that line with headways like that....8 should run a little later than 7 and at least every 15 mins....i say midnight should be the last bus from jsq....80s i dont think gonna boost anything cause you still have the 80 on westside.....But yes before covid buses was clock work now u can walk faster than depending on where u going

I agree with most of this...If the 1 use artics with its tight turns i think the 87 can manage....Only problem is that greenville cant house artics cause of they garage being to small....Yes Jersey City is rising in terms of ridership base...And its been quite amazing that transit somehow got the man power to take over JC Former Routes....
  20. Yeah thats exactly how they should do it...I only mention market st cause the end terminal is not far from the garage...It could be similar to how now orange and big tree helps the # 1

  22. Well until this new Garage opens....Me personally 83 can be a split Between Meadow/Market St...Or maybe a few Trips...I also feel like the 171 should go to Wayne also...
  23. This new 8 should run to at least 10-11pm everyday including the wkend... 9 running every hour yikes...14 i can agree with
