  1. Ask me another dumb question like that again.
  2. Congestion pricing does 👎 effect the since the does not go thru Manhattan. And the isn’t always packed like sardines like it’s Manhattan counterparts are, unless you sent the to 71 or 179, which none of that is gonna happen. The only thing that the is concentrating is trying to expand the all the way to 125th St & Broadway. so just continue to do with 5 cars and be it. It’s not that deep.
  3. The does not have enough passenger warranty for a 10 car service.
  4. ENY already has R179s. They aren’t going nowhere but sit in the & .
  5. Interchanging now begins. Kool. You might see 4060-4064 with 4460-4464 one day.
  6. Or someone doesn’t know the computer controls inside the cab. That’s been happening on every new vehicle whether it’s a bus or subway.
  7. Once the base order is done with deliveries, the first option orders follows direct. The has already made the deal for first option cars. They will make the deal for the second option once the first option is 1/2 way done
  8. I was close though. Missed by 7 buses. Plus, some of the 3000s on their last licks made it to Charleston a week before the takeover of &
  9. The 3200-3243 MCIs went to Staten Island for a while until their regular coaches came back
  10. I’ve been on that line longer than you have. And I’m not your bro
  11. I say it how I call it, whether you like it or not. & what do you mean “We”?!
  12. Now hear me out on this: the previous NTTs, the R160s and the R179s are not equipped for railroading. They wouldn’t even survive on railroad service if they were to be put on it. Most areas require canatary for overhead power. Both R160s and R179s would cost an extra $5K to put 2 over the car power and feeders to power them. No third rail shoes. For non electrical railroads, the R160s and R179s will have to put special trucks with one square box on top of A cars, while B cars lose ALL propulsions. The B cars would be “trailers”.
  13. So you think Staten Island don’t deserve these R211s?? The Republican politicians in that boro wanna have a word with you.
  14. The numbers from the R10s weren’t used until the R179s came in (not counting the R110Bs)
  15. On the roster thread, since number plates get recycled into new train cars, I only used new tech trains with older SMEEs
  16. New Techs since 1999: R142 6301-6499 <> R16 R142 6500-6899 <> R17 R142 6900-6999 R142 7000-7009 <> BMT Green Hornet R142 7010-7029 <> BMT Multis R142 7030-7049 R142 7050-7180 <> R21 R188 7211-7299 <> R21 R188 7300-7590 <> R22 R142A 7591-7749 <> R22 R142A 7750-7810 <> R26 R188 7811-7859 <> R26 R188 7860-7936 <> R28 ———————————————— R143 8101-8249 <> R27 R143 8250-8312 <> R30 ————————————————— R160A1 8313-8349 <> R30 R160A1 8350-8411 <> R30A R160A1 8412-8569 <> R30 R160A1 8570-8652 <> R29 R160A2 8653-8712 <> R29 R160B1 8713-8805 <> R29 R160B1 8806-8842 <> R33M R160B2 8843-9102 <> R33M R160B1 9103-9232 <> R33M R160A2 9233-9305 <> R33M R160A2 9306-9345 <> R33WF R160A2 9346-9523 <> R36WF R160A2 9524-9557 <> R36M R160A2 9558-9769 <> R36WF R160 9770-9974 are new to TA ———————————————— R179-1 3010-3049 <> R10 R179-2 3050-3237 <> R10 R179-1 3238-3327 <> R10
  17. Whenever he posts from what numbers are delivered, he gets his sources. Then it’s your turn.
  18. 95 cars, 4155-4159 makes it 100 R211As delivered.
  19. Bus changes: SO: lost 3430-3434 to AL, lost 8070 to RET
  20. The O. It’s the same as if you was getting a 1/43. The HO is 1/87. I have 1/3 of my collection in that scale. 1/3 in 1/43 & 1/3 in 1/50, 1/64 & 1/76
  21. You want old cars to run forever, go get yourself a O or HO scale of them.
