  1. That Queens Boulevard G.O last weekend let me get trapped on a at 36th Street for almost an hour. It is NOT a good idea to send all three lines via QBL Express in my opinion.
  2. A building collapse damages the structure of the and / / / tunnels near 116th Street. This will take at least a month to fix. What do you do?
  3. Yep that's the one. The way how it sounds in Manhattan is just...off.
  4. That's because the wheel markers weren't set properly in the program. That's why the trains are announcing stations early at Canal Street and Lexington-63rd Street. I don't know why they did this, but the Manhattan Bound announces itself regularly like it would do on 6th Avenue. There's a video that someone uploaded somewhere I just don't have time to find it.
  5. Aren't they arranged that way for a reason since the conductor boards would be in a different position?
  6. How can you extend the to Jamiaca Center if you can't pass through Myrtle?
  7. Besides they just started to work on the R143. It was sitting in 207th for almost 8 years.
  8. NEXT: A demolition crane accidentally knocks out Myrtle Avenue and destroyes it, damaging the elevated structure and other stations nearby. What do you do?
  9. It's how the MTA works. Because with that set out of service, there will always be another 4 car set in the yard that will be out of service.
  10. Question, how come sign makers don't put in the "nd" or "st" to numbered terminals on the signs? To Vancortlandt Park-242nd Street or To 242nd Street looks better then "To Van Cortlandt Park-242 St"
  11. What they need to do is make the program with the transfers that are correct. That means take out the at Atlantic Avenue, add it to Times Square, and so forth.
  12. Wrong. They are currently still being repaired at 207th Street, they just need a few components is all.
  13. Not just that, downtown trains were signed up with all types of nonsense.
  14. Due to electrical repairs along Lexington from 125th Street to South Ferry/Bowling Green, 7th Avenue from Times Square to South Ferry, Nostrand from Franklin Avenue to Flatbush, Broadway from Times Square to Canal Street, 6th Avenue from 57 ST to 34th Street, Nassau from Broadway Junction to Hewes Street, and QBL from Forest Hills to Queens Plaza, on a weekend for a month, how do you deal with it?
  15. Let's try a hard one: Due to majorly important electrical work that needs to be done on 8th Avenue (34th to High St), 6th Avenue (same way the G.O is happening now), and Lexington (59th to Brooklyn Bridge.) These service changes are scheduled for weekend and weeknights for a month, workers need access to the tracks. What do you do?
  16. I'm still scratching my head as to how in the world the IND managed to run both Astoria service and Flushing service at the same time. Wasn't Queens Boulevard built when Flushing was extended past 74th Street?
  17. Which is why 74 St Broadway needs to be rebuilt in a layout similar to Woodside. Two Island platforms. It removes that three legged transfer. OR, you can add 74th St stop to express trains by switching over to the local then back to the express, but then that causes congestion.
  18. Apologies I got them confused. I will draw up a track map, but the ones on NYC Subway.org are outdated and don't have the Second Avenue track maps that I can use to show you my other Second Avenue plan.
  19. I said not , and I didn't say send them to Jamiaca Center, I said they CONNECT TO the Jamiaca Center tracks.
  20. If the Staten Island tunnel was cancelled later then it originally was, the tail tracks would have been extended farther. However, funding needs to be included in the 2020 capital program to extend those tracks, cause 10 tph is ridiculous. Not only can we extend capacity along 4th Avenue, we can improve service along Broadway and 4th Avenue. My main issue is Queens Boulevard. That line DESPERATELY need either a bypass line or service reroute of the and . Return the as a part time route during rush hour from 9th Avenue (or 2nd Avenue) via 6th Avenue local (some trains operate will originate from Jamiaca Center to "buffer" or lag the trains along 6th Avenue so that the has space), runs via 63rd St with some via 53rd St, then to the new bypass line with stops at Roosevelt and Forest Hills, then Briarwood where it connects back to the to 179th and to Jamaica Center. Now the only main issue with this is 6th Avenue capacity.
  21. Why not switch the to Bay Ridge and the to Coney via West End?
  22. Nothings impossible. Something can happen on Concourse that will restrict the from gaming access to Bedford Park Yard, and in turn will gain a R160 from the .
