  1. What are you all talking about? North End Access never connected to LIRR, as far as I’m aware. You always had to go via the lower level of GCT or via the Biltmore Rook to access LIRR.
  2. From a trusted the source; the R211S’s are having power issues and cab signal problems in certain areas of the mainline which is why they’ve been sidelined at St. George for the past few weeks.
  3. I forgot that service pattern even existed, good lord. NJT needs to stop with having thousands of variations for a route. Especially since that Hamilton Park branch is barely used and could instead be served by the 123.
  4. I love how half of you are arguing with someone who literally works in transit and would know the way how they would actually do things since they’re, idk, trained on it But what do I know, I’m just a railroad guy.
  5. Can we get rid of all these variations to the 126? There’s no reason large buses should be running down some of these tight *** side streets…
  6. Apparently some light rail derailed on the system earlier. Not sure of the details.
  7. There are 17 separate lawsuits against it. I’m telling you it’s not happening in July 😂
  8. With how much pushback and outrage they’re getting over CP, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
  9. I love this idea. The 32's schedule hasn't changed since 2003, and that's extremely disappointing. For a route that's suppose to be a mix of a commuter/connector bus, the PM span is awful. It also stops running at 6:30 PM, when most of commuters come back from the train station at around 7-9:30 PM when the rush ends.
  10. Yeah it's a spectrum sign, but with how horrible they've been doing their signs lately, I think they should use the money on other better things instead.
  11. Me and a few others have been trying gather attention to the route cuts, so hopefully the "entire" microtransit redesign gets dropped in the end.
  12. It’s happened to me on the 126. Port Authority loves to reroute lanes at the last second, especially in that rightmost tunnel, I get sent down to 34th St. luckily a lot of them understood it wasn’t my fault. Dispatch wasn’t happy with me though haha.
  13. Because we still have a car shortage from the pre-mature retirements of the R44's and R32's.
  14. Complete waste of time & money. Microtransit won't work for routes like the 12 or 32.
  15. Also if anyone has questions about the job, Id be happy to answer them.
  16. I wouldn’t. It’s a great job. There are lots of people I know that live in the city when they first started.
  17. @Cait Sith would something like this be possible? Where select roles can only respond to certain threads?
  18. It’s like the BOSS tests more or less.
  19. When you first get released they can send you anywhere. It’s worth it in the end, but you have to deal with it for a few weeks to a month. You also have lots of transit options to get to a lot of places except for the Harlem Line, Amtrak & Bee Line are very accommodating as long as you ask.
  20. I think we need to have reliable poster roles in threads like this. Far to many times has someone falsely reported a bus retired or somewhere it shouldn’t be.
  21. Where exactly is fairview gonna be putting all these buses? That garage is tinier then Meredith lol
  22. I know this was probably asked before, but why was the chosen to serve 96th St instead of the ?
