  1. I got on one of the Prevosts dispatched from New York Bus Service (Eastchester) yesterday on the BxM10 to Eastwood Manor. It was #1405 if I remember correctly. The bus driver asked if I was headed to the Bronx from Manhattan after I paid my fare, just before I sat down to buckle up. He was courteous enough to turn off the air conditioner just to hear me out. I told him yes, that I was going to the Bronx. He said he asked me that question because he wanted to be sure I got in the right bus. The period that I entered into the bus, Madison Avenue looked like a madhouse with tons of sedans and other cars. Third Avenue was better, though there was a Fort George that almost got too close to the Prevost that I was on. Besides me, there were more than ten people on the Prevost that I boarded. The way the bus driver drove the bus looked insane; there was a point that a sedan due to a sudden stop almost hit the bus from the front while on the Sheridan. There were many stops along Madison and Third where he just drove into the pickup spots. Whenever he saw an opening along Madison for him to get past the sedan madness, he took it and became defensive with how he drove. Yet, the bus driver drove safely coming from Manhattan and entering the Bronx. Traversing the Bruckner into the Sheridan Expressway (make that the Boulevard) was worse compared to Madison or Third Avenues due to the construction, though the Triborough Bridge crossing as well as going through Morris Park Avenue and Eastchester Road were great. The Prevost managed to beat a New Flyer C40LF #306 on the that was headed to Woodlawn Heights, which I took the rest of the way to my place from the Manor.
  2. Yes, I mean Liberty Lines Transit - operator of Westchester Bee Line. I want the Westchester prefix as well, please.
  3. Okay. Can you do those four signs using the Hanover Monochrome front, please?
  4. Can I get Luminator Spectrum sign: to Erskine Place: via Boston Road to Pelham Parkway: via Boston Road to Fulton Landing: via Fulton Mall to Jamaica Avenue: via Fulton Mall Hanover Monochrome side: W25 to 238 St Subway: via Getty Square/Cross County W25 to Yonkers Metro-North: via Cross County/Getty Square
  5. The final run is more likely going to be on the train instead; remember that the and trains first began running the 46 back in '75.
  6. They did, but they were eventually sent over to the Coliseum when Bartow got articulated coaches.
  7. One, I am actually twenty eight, and two, I just simply made the names up so that I would not put them on blast.
  8. Yes, they wanted to replace the entire Mosholu Local twice: Once during the building of the Grand Concourse extension and the other time during the Corporate era where there were more line closures than those that opened. The Fifth Avenue section (that is, the Jerome Avenue section) was planned to only operate to 161 Street - Yankee Stadium under River Avenue during the corporate era, but that never happened both times. Had it happened, I would be finding myself taking a three way transfer or even be on the Bronx Park for that matter more often. That would have been more worse than how things are today with the Interborough.
  9. My local Walgreens could not sell me the One Metro New York card that they had among the gift cards. That was what mainly happened.
  10. I was surprised myself regarding how that went down. I did not expect that from him, but I did not fight him at all. I am thinking of going there tomorrow morning. God willing, I would see my mom's favorite clerk there.
  11. I went to my local Walgreens right along Baychester yesterday, and I noticed that they had the One Metro New York contactless cards available there. Since I needed to buy something else other than that earlier, I went to a retail clerk (lets call her Mia*) that somehow knew my mom. She was unusually courteous to me. I later went back there after going to a laundromat along Pitman to dry some clothes, hoping that I would get the card there. Sure enough, I got the card and I went to the retail clerk (lets call him William*) that was there when I came back later. I struggled with asking him about a particular aspect of the card, but he was understanding. He called over his coworker and asked if they can sell it to me. He said no, which he told me. I asked him something like: "Don't you have any special card readers to detect it?" He said something like: "We do not know why we cannot sell it, but it ain't eligible to be sold here." At that point, I am thinking something like: "I should have just seen Mia* while she was at the retail area." I really thought it was strange that it cannot be sold there, when the card that I wanted to get was good for five years - meaning that it was not expired. *I just simply made those names up.
  12. I hope the 6 stays put with the Coliseum, and i do not think the 18 is going to be moved from its home by 215. The 19 really needs to be split rather than the 15. I suspect that their 125 plan would send that crosstown line to 132 and be using standard 40ft coaches. It would likely be like how the 15 ran before with standard 40ft CNG buses before the conversion to mostly articulated coach operation with the 55's significant reduction (I still believe the 55 should come back to run from 211 to 149 at least daytime and evening). If they can revive the 25 to follow the 26's original path, there should be no reason not to revive the 55.
  13. I was featured in the webinar and I told them within two minutes what i thought needed to happen to the 16 when it came to two bus stop consolidations and a stop relocation. I wanted to add more, but I somehow blacked out.
  14. Yes, since at least 2018 or 19. It's been a while since it last ran.
  15. The overhead looks a bit off; can you remove the fourth stage and space out the time I indicated for the overhead?
  16. Franklin next and To Woodlawn-Jerome would be fine.
  17. Can I get an R142A overhead sign: 4 Av Express Mosholu Local To Woodlawn-Jerome Av Woodlawn-Jerome Av Franklin-Botanic next 4:06pm A dirty 68 sign: 207 Street-Isham Park Chambers St-Hudson Terminal A clear 68 sign: Norwood - 205 Street Gravesend - Bay 50 Street
  18. That and the overhead sign looks very well done, thanks man!
