  1. The destination sign looks a bit weird, but the overhead sign is just how I wanted it to be. Can I have the second and third stages swapped on the R179 LED destination sign, please?
  2. Could you remove the Culver reference for the R179 LED destination reading while keeping the Crosstown Local reading?
  3. I do not want you to make it blink; I want the overhead to fit on a single GIF.
  4. Do separate GIFs entail a blinking effect that exists on the 179 on approach to the stop? If that is the case, I'd be okay with that.
  5. Given the recent news that the Crosstown train is heading back home to Jamaica as a result of CBTC activation from Bergen to Church for the train, could you do an interior R179 LED sign display as such: To Kensington - Church The Next Stop Is Metropolitan - Grand 8:19 AM This is Metropolitan - Grand Transfer for at Lorimer St An R179 LED destination sign like this: Kensington - Church Crosstown - Culver Local Queens Blvd Local
  6. They have to go through the listing that they had for 2016 before they decide to do a new Motormen examination under the civil service circuit. They have already released a bus driver examination for the private bus companies (Command, Liberty Lines Express, Green Bus Lines, Triboro Coach, New York Bus Service, Queens Surface, and Jamaica Buses).
  7. I do not know why they can not just send the train outside to Lefferts and let the train be the Mott and Beach 116 train.
  8. That could be done, but they have not finished the motormen list for 2016. That is where the problem lies.

  10. Saw that articulated coach as well. I also took note of various articulated coaches and standard units that have a 9/11 We Remember banner programmed in place of the Mask Required banner. 5495, 5497, 5526 and 6185 were on the M23 Crosstown Select+ to and from Chelsea Piers, while 8686 was on the M100 to East Harlem 2nd Avenue - 127 Street.
  11. That's likely the case; its almost the same as how the Flushing C trailer cars were procured for the 188 for eleven car operation.
  12. They included 6 car sets as part of the base order for the 42 Street .
  13. The local bypasses the Bronx Park crossover to stop at the Mott Avenue upper level before crossing over to the bidirectional Mosholu Express track to relay. If I was in charge of dispatch, the local should have just went outside outbound and turned at Burnside Avenue (New York University) while bypassing 170, Belmont - 173 Streets (present day Mount Eden Avenue), and 176 Street towards Burnside. Brooklyn Bridge intervals inbound would call at those stops. It is better for the train so that it would cut down on unnecessary delays north of Mott Avenue.
  14. I highlighted some trains that have either updated or are wrong: ALL trains from Woodlawn turn at Burnside Avenue (New York University) due to Mott's upper level unsuitable for a turnaround as a result of accessibility improvement and flooding on the Mosholu tunnel. trains out of 125-Lex go out to East New York to fill in for the train that is running the Broadway - 7 Av Shuttle due to flooding in the Clark Street tube. Select trains run via the Mosholu interlocking south of Mott Avenue (the original platform) to go to Crown Heights Utica to fill in for the train while going around the Clark Street tube and 142 Street Junction. trains are running to Bowling Green as of around 2:20 as a result of flooding on the Joralemon tube; they were previously split at East 180 and 125-Lex in addition to Bowling Green. The train is running full limited service due to flooding on the Grand Concourse and DeKalb tubes. The train is split; all trains out of Ditmars turn at Queensboro Plaza due to flooding on the 60 Street tube. The train is running full limited service as of 12:25 due to flooding through the Greenpoint tube. The Franklin has been reactivated with limited service as of around 2:10 as a result of it's open cut nature. The train is running local in both directions alongside the on the full route as a result of flooding on the Cranberry Street tube. It doesn't look like the Rockaway train is running the full route; it's only running from Broad Channel to Far Rock. I think Holland, Playland, Seaside and Beach 116 are closed, but Gaston Avenue, Straiton Avenue, Frank Avenue, Edgemere, Wavecrest, and Far Rockaway are open.
  15. Grand Concourse has a car wash, but the Mosholu fleet often shares that with the Grand Concourse fleet. The car wash is on the eastern bend of the yard. What you likely meant to say is that the Mosholu fleet is not often sent over for washing the same way that the East 180/Unionport fleet is sent over for washing, much less the Wakefield fleet. This likely has to do with its status as a senior line, seeing that it is the express backbone by day only to become the local at night when the train as well as the train are only running inside their respective boroughs.
  16. That reminds me of two separate incidents I encountered on two separate days (one this past Sunday and the other on Tuesday). Both incidents centered around maskless people, and I found myself on Sunday having to stand on the train for most of the journey from 149 to Woodlawn, as there were about six to seven passengers without a mask on the conductor car where I was. The one for Tuesday felt more awkward; that morning was my first ride on the 11 express in a year and I took it to 34 Street to get the train to Ralph Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant for an eight hour security course there. As a result of first hearing about the first three rows being roped off on the express (even though the block is now to the first row before I first got on), I got on a seat where it was not likely I would be very close to the Liberty Lines Express bus driver. There was a lady that got on the bus without a mask at about 233 or 225. I was muttering in my mind: Why does she not have a mask on? This was especially the case since she was wearing a hospital uniform. By the time the 11 reached the first drop-off at 98 (right by Einstein), I noticed she had worn it on the bus mid trip as she got off with more than four passengers wanting to get off there. On my way back from Ralph Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant (because that was where I needed to go to for my eight hour annual security class), I just came off the Pelham Bay Park Express at Westchester Square and got on the 31 that was at Tremont. I had put my bag next to me on an empty seat just so that no passenger would try to sit next to me. But boy was I later wrong about that, because midway through my journey home (my place is right by Edenwald, but Laconia is closest to my place along the 31), there was a lady without a mask that got on at around Gun Hill on Eastchester. She asked me something like: "Could you give that seat to me?" I was really thinking in my mind: "Why should I give you a seat if you are not wearing a mask?" I just did not say or do anything to her; in other words, I acted like I did not realize she had the gall to come to me to ask for a seat when she was not wearing a mask. When she realized I did not move my bag, she told another passenger that was sitting in front of me something like: "I bet that young man is autistic because he did not reply to my request to him; he just wants to be alone." Now it is true that I am autistic, but I was more concerned about my own health; I wanted to just watch my back to protect myself, but she did not know that. She, unfortunately, did not get what I was thinking about by my refusal to let her sit next to me. She later sat in front of me before getting off around the other side of the Edenwald Houses at 229. Another lady that was next to me on the 31 earlier was more understanding than the one that got on around Gun Hill, given how she likely noticed my bag that I put next to me.
  17. Fresh Pond decals, bus does not have Gun Hill decals at the moment - though it was original to Gun Hill.
  18. Saw 4066 running on the 16 in the Bronx, bus had decals coming from Fresh Pond.
  19. They do this because of the limitation with the Mosholu interlocking south of 149 on the Bronx Park level and the merge from the Bronx Park which affects the train. The cause is further up north at the Jackson Avenue interlocking on the Bronx Park side. There was a time that the train bypassed 138 as well, but that was later given to the train to do. It is just not ideal because all the stops north of 149 on the train have more passenger volume.
  20. They did this to the train before, but it messed up the train so much (since it ran down to Utica) that they had to eventually extend it over to the Bush during middays. As far as the Pelham Bay Park Express out of Pelham Bay Park is concerned, it cannot be easily eliminated during the middays as easily as the Flushing Express was; it is necessary for it to continue during that period.
  21. Can I get two train signs as well as two bus signs? I want the first train sign to be the R142 rounded typeface LED To Pelham Bay Park Lexington Av Local Pelham Bay Express I want the second train sign to be the R110B LCD sign in black To Woodlawn - Jerome Av Lexington Av Express Mosholu Express I want the Luminator Nova MAX3000 green flipdot LED sign for both: Bx30: Co Op City - Earhart Lane via Gun Hill/Boston Roads via Dreiser/Asch Loops Bx30: Norwood - 206 Street via Asch/Dreiser Loops via Boston/Gun Hill Roads
