  1. The boots you have to wear once you get them it's part of your uniform.
  2. Tbh a lot more stuff is known it doesn't really matter lol, we're here to help people it's known and it's been said the signal exam needs a 100 lol...
  3. If you get a 90 or 95 you've failed the signal exam no if ands or buts, but like previous people wrote they'll pull you aside if you aside seeking clarification. Just study and you'll be fine I was one who always stressed over signals and then when I actually took it and saw what was on it I was like it's not that bad at all. Again just study and you'll do fine if everybody else can do it so can you. 💪
  4. Nah I just help out with whatever I can between both forums, and thanks :). It's been okay not too bad it could always be worse. A lot more of responsibilities than when I was a conductor though
  5. Yeah was called in June 2019 lol but now I'm a train operator 👀
  6. The medical section is next after the pre employment if they're up to your list number.
  7. You won't be allowed to operate a train if you're taking any narcotics, if any narcotics show up during your drug test or a random just make sure you have a prescription and proof. We all done here aren't made perfectly...
  8. Just go and you'll make it you can realistically lose 2 pounds a week 8 pounds in a month or 16 in two months if you're dedicated. Or more depending on how serious you are to reaching that t/o goal. No pain no gain #notsofatgang
  9. Gotta beat the system some home, had to lose the spare tire 👀 ask me now if my conductor clothes fit me and 😬
  10. Or just go on a lil diet until they call, that's what I did when I got called for t/o last year when i was a conductor when on a salad and low calorie diet for like 2 months prior to them calling me and passed the medical.
  11. They'll review your paperwork packet and do a drug test as well, and if you pass and they're up to your list number then you have between then and 90 days to be called for your medical appointment, if they dont call you for your medical appointment then you'll be called for pre employment again to do the paperwork and drug test all over again. My advice is to make copies of all you paperwork you're bringing in so that way if they call you again you can just copy what you wrote previously, unless something changed.
  12. Possibly but don't quote me on that because I'm not those quack doctors over there, I believe they go based on bmi and fatneckgang status. When's your medical?
  13. I'll join the biggutgang nah but real talk it's a bunch of bs so a body builder who weighs a lot because of muscle and an oversize neck because of muscle will considered they have sleep apnea also the bmi system is the most bogus system in the world...I asked the doctors over there about the body builder also and they told me yup they'll be tested also I'm like tf
  14. You just got back to the bottom of the barrel in terms of XX your XX number will start higher than what it was originally, your senority number when it comes to picking a job wouldn't change, the only thing that'll change if the t/o came back is your XX number.
  15. Happened to girl in my induction class back in 2019 she couldn't make it from the roadbed to the train, she had to be let go she came back and is out on her own as a conductor.
  16. Everything is good can't complain, only word of advice is study study study and you'll be out here in no time.
  17. Yeah forgot to add that also everything must be carried at all times, because if they check the dispatchers or tss and you don't have it you'll be in a pickle.
  18. Well if they gave you tools then everything that was supplied to you if it's your first day bring the rulebook cuz if they ask for it and it'd nothing there then it might be a problem. Throughout school you're required to have all your tools and books with you at all times, including ppe.
