  5. As of December 3rd 2019, Coney Island and Jamaica Yards are preparing for the CBTC signalling system for the Queens Blvd Line and apparently ENY's cars as well. Jamaica is planning to swap their R46s out for most of Coney Island's R160A-2, R160B Siemens/Alstom cars. When the swap is completed, you'll see R46s more on the and Lines. Since the R46s aren't CBTC compatible, they'll be at COney Island permanently.

Why couldn't the MTA have 's run via the line to Church Av or 2nd Avenue, 's running their regular route, 's run via 4th Avenue Express to Coney Island, trains running via 4th Avenue Local/Express via the to terminate at Bay Pkwy and/or Coney Island and trains run every 16 Minutes to/from Bay Ridge to avoid congestion and have those 2 car sets convert into 2 4 car units to shuttle passengers to Prospect Park and have 2 2-car units shuttle passengers to Franklin Avenue where they can use the , , , and trains as a alternate.

The current subway cars that run on the IND Subway is the R32, R46, R68/A, R160A-1/2/B,/BS, and the Lemon R179. In the future, the is underway of starting the Kawasaki R211 in 2020.   14. The IRT (Interborough) Subway was the first to open the subway in 1904 starting with the Lexington Avenue Line or current line in Manhattan. The IRT runs in all boroughs except Staten Island.
