    They wasted money on cameras for buses for what, can’t access the footage or something??? MTA is really a waste of tax payer dollars being that the people who make decisions don’t even live in NYC. Not a fan of the Staties but NYPD drops the ball every chance they get and the City should have control of the system.

    As long as I been around Brooklyn 30+ years NYS Troops has always had a presence at the BBT entrance same for the Tri Boro.

    Not very rare NYS troopers have always been a heavy presence at BBT.

    NYS Troopers just like most states have jurisdiction throughout the entire state so it’s not up to MTA or NYC where they go. For the case of the island Stapleton has to get it together but the MTA also lied about the number of incidents that forced the detour so I can’t really side with them either.
