  1. Looks like the tracks have been severely damaged, train service will most likely not return to service till it’s fixed.
  2. Even if it were the rain, wouldn’t there be some sort of safety measures during extreme weather conditions??
  3. This reminds of the 2017 New York City subway crisis
  4. Not really, someone asked me if the R46 was actually a because they still think the old fleet run on the
  5. The MTA hasn’t posted the next list for future “station enhancements” (I’m not calling it renewvation anymore) Most likely the MTA will end with this program, just like ESI
  6. They were all minor injuries, and the trauma that this made of caused is something that can’t be recovered from one day to the other…..just take a look at the videos
  7. The canopy at 82nd street is starting to see shape, the crews will eventually add more features on the canopy in the next upcoming weeks, for 111 street, it seems to be in the same state as the past few weeks, reinforced concrete platforms are not 100% complete, and the crews haven’t painted the steel structures yet.
  8. I haven’t seen any, unless they run during rush hours only
  9. Run a few local or during midday, to avoid crowding, express service during midday should be cut in half for QBL during midday only
  10. How are they operating it without some sort of security system?? Don’t the trains got some sort of key to operate the train?
  11. Quick update at 82nd street, PA (Public address system) speakers are beginning to be installed, I know this is a small change but every little thing counts as progress, I’ll get to visit 111 street station by next week, there will most likely be less updates on the station renewal project, since the MTA is planning to work at the Queensboro plaza station for elevator installation, which is affecting the station renewal projects to possibly March 2024, and later on the crews will work at the flushing bound side.
  12. Need an exact number tbh, I’m also curious into how many sets are actually in service, but I’ve lost track
  13. The most obvious neighborhood with high crime is Brownsville Brooklyn, where the and run over, another area that I find very sketchy is east Harlem, served by the , between 125th and 110th street stations, there’s always some crazy stuff happening, for Queens, that’ll be the neighborhood of Jamaica, mainly parson archer on the
  14. Is there any update into when the omny machines will roll out on every station?
  15. Today it has been the worse day to take the during rush hours, both AM and PM rush hours were horrible today, very disappointing for MTA, now it would’ve been a different case if these interruptions happened during midday, but these incidents occurred during rush hours, were there will be massive crowding, horrible service today
  16. Today, more work has been done at 82nd street, like previously said, the crews will be painting the steel structures green, which has occurred today, and new yellow platform edges are beginning to see shape, and the second stair from platform/mezzanine has been complete. The crews will most likely focus on the mezzanine in the next upcoming weeks, hopefully the new windscreens are installed this month or next month, for 111 Street I have no updates, I’ll most likely take a trip tomorrow or the following day there
  17. The platform has been 100% completed at 82nd street, with more light installation in the area, for 111 street. They’re still working to reinforce the concrete platform, in the next upcoming weeks, the crew will most likely finish installing the new canopy roof at 82nd street, and probably painting the steel structures with fresh new green coat of paint
  18. the mta hasn’t updated their reNEWvation status for weeks…… anyway 8th street NYU on the was on the list and it has recently been completed. hopefully the MTA can give an update of before and after, it’s pretty interesting to see the aesthetic changes
  19. I saw car 4164 at the Coney Island yard today, don’t know what that could mean, is it there for testing purposes?
  20. As of today, Sunday December 10, the 82nd street station has received multiple appearance changes The station’s canopy will be identical to the original IRT style, just like Astoria Blvd station received during renovations in 2019 New lighting has been placed on the out side area of the station, they look similar to the ones at Astoria Blvd A new staircase has been built that goes to the mezzanine level, however no changes are done yet at the mezzanine level, except for a new staircase that’s not 100% completed but has been opened to reduce over crowding For 111 street, not much can be seen, just new concrete platforms, and several more concrete reinforcements are being installed on the area
  21. I thought they had a schedule where they’re chosen a line to operate in, but that’s what I kinda meant to say, it doesn’t necessarily mean the 211’s will end up on QBL
  22. Or maybe it’s for selected schedules where train operators that work on other lines get to operate the 211’s on the
