MTA would be bringing in subway cars by flat bed truck to restore subway service to the Rockaways. The Rockaways bridge is still out, but Cuomo said there would be a bus shuttle.

Certain people here really cannot grasp through a true meaning of a transit system. If "old" trains bother you so much, take the express bus or drive a limo than bitching over a subway car that is still suitable for service. The train always runs at 5 minute headways through most of weekdays and 10 minutes on weekends, the Astoria Line and the Brighton Line local stops, especially south of Newkrik Plaza do have high ridership. I can agree with Grand Concourse that the N would be a much less demanding line when they sent it up to SAS and have the Q stay in Astoria instead.

I hate it when people post things similar to mine but using different words honestly. There's something called, "Like Button" or just say that you agree with me instead of wasting your time making my post up but in your own words.

For those like me who give an opinion but feel attacked by other members, just don't bring anything up. Assuming that you have Cinemax, I'd like to know if SAP works fine for Cinemax West? Ever since SD feeds mirrored the HD feeds in May, SAP disappeared for that channel. >_>

Pity with some users here. Do you really think that just because you increase more service on a line, that means the rest of the sections will have ridership growing finally? Ridership on one of the trunk lines increases based on the huge political and population of the hoods themselves. More passengers don't magically spawn after a train leaves. It also depends on another line that serves the same hoods but in a different route. Trains are there to serve the total amount of growing rider...
