LOOKS LIKE YOU GUYS ARE GONNA GO NUTS: Saw an R42 signed up as deadheading downtown at 59th st CC when i was on an train heading uptown, looks like pitkin is getting a set of R42's again as 20-30 R32's go to the Rockaways (via being shipped on a flatbed) i went to ENY to check if it went back there i didn't see the R42 so its at pit kin yard right now

the Q25,34 and 65 will always be late no matter what, due to traffic and annoying school kids, plus the traffic on kissena ave past the LIE makes it worse

BP should have never lost those 3500's, they were maintained good, now that FR got em, they tore em up

If there was an R32 on the , then thats because the R46's are doing very bad, i saw one at 207th st, it ran like complete crap, thats the only reason why they would be on if an R46 is acting up and if they don't any have spares

Most likely after the R32 SMS is over

i still don't believe this whole LGA CP swap, I don't agree with the Q66 going to LGA, LGA is a f**king dump already with all the buses they have, why would you give em MORE buses, CP is much bigger it would be smart to have them keep their Routes, As for BP being all Hybird, I doubt it, they are just sending a few to replace the worst of the Bee line Orion V's

Its obvious, the MTA Has not made any plans to SMS the R42's, so the biggest guess is that they will retire soon, they can't stay in service in the shape they are in, I spoke to a Supervisor and he told me they will be out the door once the R32 SMS is complete unless they change their minds and SMS the R42's (i doubt it) There is enough R32's that can replace them since the uses 144 out of 222 cars, plus there are 10 active R32's that do work service plus the 8 in ENY yard (revenue inactive) so thats a total of 240 R32's there are more than enough to pluck the R42's out

don't hold your breath on the R42's, they might be out the door much sooner than you think, Ive said this over and over again, ONCE the R32's SMS is Done, 207th would NOT need all of them R32's, meaning the would NOT need all of those spare cars, those 50 to 30 cars can if they really want to can kick those R42's to the curve, the R32's aren't breaking down as much on the since the SMS so it wouldn't be an issue, the SMS should be done by Feb 2013

3722 At BP, It was on the Q111 this morning

3612 is at BP, 181 is OOS has missing doors and parts I still think about 20 plus Orion V CNG's will stick around for another year or less, unless NYCT coul give up some OG Orion VII's or whatever i don't see these Orion V's going anywhere, I still think SC will give up thier Orion VII's they have been going first, im surpised that BP has 3612, so the Bee's are on their last days as well
