I like Both the R32's and R46's but the R46's are starting to drop more than the R32's, i just got off the and about 4-6 trainsets of R46's had dead motors, of course people are gonna bash the R32's they are the oldest subway cars but they don't realize the R32's are work horses they do get the job done as well as the R46's but the R46's on the are starting to become unreliable now
  2. ummmm no, all the R62A's that are being SMS'ed in 207th st yard are going back to corona, and no LIKE I TOLD YOU ON FACEBOOK since you blocked me because I ripped on you because of spreading BS, the R62A's will NOT GET TRANSFERD UNTIL THE 1st 3 R188's are in revenue service AFTER the Testing is DONE, the 23 Brand New R188's with the 10 Converted cars plus 7921(C-Car) then you will see 3 sets Of R62A's get transferd and that won't take place until Next Year since the 23 R188's aren't here yet, 5 cars went somewhere to await the C car (7921) to arrive on property, (ITS not on Property yet)
  3. ah No there Not, all the singles that are being linked (not all of them) but most of the 2140's and 2000's will be getting linked and they are keeping the half width cabs, all of the singles that JUST got SMS'ed and Linked still have their half Cabs
  4. they want to do this, so they can rebuild the 240th st barn on the forcing the to use 207th st barn to shop the R62A's, while pitkin yard shops all the (A)/© equipment, not gonna be a good move since all of the cars on the (A)/© are breaking down alot more

Yeah only to Lefferts, Most of the R32's go to Lefferts blvd now like only 2-4 trainsets out of all of them go to Far Rock, I spoken to a few people who work on both the (A)/© and they Both said this swap is bullshit, they take trains from other yards just to make service, they tore up Jamaica's R46's, The R42's look like they can't survive another day, its a big waste of money, if this is a common problem and they are gonna do this every summer, just move the cars somewhere else, the is a perfect line because its Outside and its a 5 day a week line Btw 1 R42 set Has Been Transferd back to ENY saw it this morning when I was on the the set that had 4795 as the head car is back at ENY yeah of course but atleast they don't have to swap lines every summer, Jamaica's R32's had their A/C issues due to their shitty work but they still managed, even on the when they ran em on the there was never an A/C issue, only very few times as well as the , the is a different story and one thing i don't get is you guys saying oh they aren't going anywhere else, trust me about 50 or more cars will go elsewhere in the future, you already have 10 cars at 38th/CI for work service and 8 in ENY in revenue inactive

I doubt it, i know like 2 line supervisors DON'T even Want the R32's on the but of course they were forced to have em on there, thats why they just took them off out of nowhere in the end of 2010, but if this is in fact True, Jamaica and ENY is gonna be pissed, Jamaica Needs its R46's Back and ENY needs its R42's back unless ENY can fix up that R32 that they have sitting in their yard and have it for a spare train just incase they need a train, they need to end this bullshit already and have everything back to normal, it doesn't make sense anyway, the spends alot of time underground as well, the still had very Few Hot Cars (better than last year) they Need to just send them somewhere else already, its gonna result to that anyway, the cars have about 5-8 years left in revenue service, and i know they aren't gonna do this for the next 5 years, the (A)/© needs newer equipment, as much as i hate to say this, give the damn or R68/A's already, the R68's would be perfect for the that would shut everyone up IMO.

Agreed, I said the same thing, but when sometimes 207th don't have any room, besides they are scrapping R44's so thats taking up space, but it is odd to have the cars in FP yard until it got transferd to ENY where they are at now BTW nothing new with the cars really, they are in the same spot since the day they got there

  11. those R143's are gonna stay on the , made it clear that those cars are for the , i see the R160A-1's going to 207th but not the R143's MTA didn't waste money getting those cars ready for the ATO and CBTC upgrade for nothing, i don't believe they are gonna send the R143's to the i just don't see it happening
  12. last night about 4 R32's ran on the during the overnight along with 1 R42, the made it clear that they want to send about 64 R46's to SI to replace those R44's out there, its in the capital program
  13. yeah those will be the A-A units and some ABBA units, 6170-6258 are the cars that will go to SIR, as for the ones in the subway they aren't getting another rehab, they just received their rehab 2-4 years ago

The R46's don't have alot a life left in them ether, the ones on the and are doing bad as well due to breakdowns and etc., the Polit R179 should be here by 2015-earliy 2016 (if deliverd late) for testing when the R32's retire half of them will get scrapped, the other half will stay for non revenue service (work trains) for the B division, also another pair will be saved for the Museum.

The MTA Hates the depot, I GOT PISSED when they took 3500-3522,24, 3523 is still at BP, they also took 3759-65, people clam its a milage thing, To Me that BS, they just wanted to take our good buses like in 2006 when they took ALL of our good RTS, its a shame that BP is getting Junk, but BP will fix 139 up, they are in the garage being worked on, but I agree with you, i don't mind RTS but when they gave us these orions then i knew these buses weren't gonna last, Esp. on Jamaica Ave on the Q110

Ive been saying the same thing, but Its best to keep quiet on the R32 part, you should know now that the R32's are the most hated cars amd once they leave these same clowns will be whining oh i wish the R32's would have stayed and etc., a train is a train, a good chuck of r32's are gonna stay anyway mainly for B divison work service so let THEM whine and bicth, at the end of the day the R32 gets the last laugh

I still doubt it, too many people are throwing more bones out there, the MTA made it clear that the r143's were staying on the , it would be a big waste of money doing that, they should just give the new cars and get it over with, or send them the R160A-1's instead, but you never know what can happen

The R143's WILL NOT go to the , why in the hell would MTA spend Money on modifying those cars for the line just to put em on the those R143's are for the for CBTC as well as about 50-64 R160's with the red dot thats on top of the number boards, the made it clear that the R179's are going to the (subject to change) the R143's were bulit for the , if that were to happen, the would have to spend MORE money modifing the R160A-1's to run for ATO service, I don't believe that R143 going to the bullshit, eventhough i would like to see R143's on the , I just don't see it happening, the R143's are all modifed to run in ATO as well as those R160A-1's that have the red dot on top of the number board, so it wouldn't make sense to send cars that are ALREADY modifed for ATO, they might send the R160A-1 cars to the that would make more sense but the R143's aren't going anywhere
  23. Humm 9080 got sent back, Now I think what JFK is gonna do, I heard alot of drivers at JFK are complaining about the RTS (i have no clue why, they are good buses, but its about the legroom)
