So Pennsylvania Av on the is closed again, this time until further notice.
A truck hit the structure this morning around 7, must've been bad enough to have trains skip it in both directions. I was heading to work this morning, and while walking to the I seen a few B83s come down New Lots Av and turn on Christopher Av and Sackman St.
The would get priority on the tracks. The would often be local as Lance pointed out, so the express tracks would be wide open. He same reason they have "Long Island RR" and "Metro North RR" codes...unknown reasons
local 59 St to Canal St
via 6 Av/63 St
some via Crosstown
some delays
whatever the plan will be for the shutdown (no need to mention this line tbh)
Chambers St to Metropolitan Av
skips Court Square
Idk where people getting the idea of Grand getting artics from. The only Brooklyn depot that's definitely getting artics (not counting Flatbush) is ENY.
The ones at Lex-63 only went up to the station and ended at bumper blocks at the end of the station.
There was a segment built between 99 and 105 Sts (or something like that), and that's being used now for lay-up space for Phase 1.
There was another segment built roughly around 116-120 Sts, and they will most likely use that part too.
Then there's another mistake on the map.
Look by Governors Island near the Brooklyn shore. As if magically floating there, you'll see "2, 3, and Manhattan 4, 5" arbitrarily floating there in blue letters.
And none of the 2 Av stations show any wheelchair availability.
They used to turn them back on the middle track at Kings Hwy, but since that rehab has southbound trains using the middle track as a through track, the Kings Hwy trains have to run light to the yard leads by Avenue X to turn around.
