  1. You got a few months before they actually go into service
  2. Picks generally begin on Sundays as it is the beginning of the week. Labor Day just so happened to be the next day.
  3. Internally it's an SBS route, but to the public it's still a limited for now
  4. Just a reminder, having multiple accounts on this site violates forum rules and regulations and is worthy of immediate termination.
  5. No one here is insulting anyone, nor is there abusing going around. ...trust me
  6. From a logical standpoint, I would assume FB will get the Novas and ENY will get the XD60s, just of the fact of the similar parts they already have. FB already has Novas, and ENY already deals with the XD40s.
  7. The stations will be spaced far enough apart where express service would be useless.
  8. Today's travels: Waited for the this afternoon at 14 St, and (as usual lol) the train came late and crowded. Waited too long for it to show up, so I bit the bullet and crammed my way in. Surprisingly, I was able to get a seat (A window one at that) at 42 St. There was the usual people holding the doors the trip up, with the conductor repeatedly announcing that there was a train directly behind us. Fast forward to 145 St. After leaving the station, we switched to the local track. Didn't hear the announcement as I had my music on blast, but I felt the train switch. We stopped at 155 and 163 Sts. As we're pulling into 168 St, the train behind us pulls into the station at the same time on the express track. We both sitting in the station and I noticed from my seat that the express train had the line-up to leave the station first. I bailed to that train since I had to go to 207 St, and the train was almost completely empty.
  9. IIRC, flaking means or was reset via the circut breaker. Solid yellow light definitely means dead motor(s). All the current non-NTT cars have that yellow light. That's what it always was. Somehow it got corrupted along the way when the cars was updated with the new combined stripmaps.
  10. 5065 and 4943 were both on the B15 this afternoon
  11. There was only 2 that was repowered. 7691 recently retired, and 7746 is rolling alobg
  12. Stop backseat moderating ...that's my job lol
  13. Yes. There's nothing different about the cars, they're still maintained in their respective yards.
  14. That one used to be 847. Unknown if it's still CNG or not since the tanks were expired once we were done with it.
  15. They both ran today. The first set was the train behind mines, and the other one was about 3 trains behind that
  16. There's more than enough nuggets (that's what I call the wrapped XD40s, long story lol) to spare. Service is usually less frequent on weekends compared to weekdays, therefore less buses being used.
  17. I was on it today too. Rode it from 42 St all the way down to Rector...total PITA for me to travel today since there was no trains to my area and I needed to go along the , but I digress lol... Long story short, the glitch announcement played, followed by the next stop announcement the entire way down. Once we got to Chambers, the glitch announcement played, followed by the the train. Saying the next and last stop was Rector St.
  18. Yes it is. It tells you when it was retired, and where they dumped it at. Gotta scroll towards the bottom of the page.
  19. Yeah. After everything got renumbered after the takeover (and before everything got shuffled around lol), it was generally like this: 700s: Command (Spring Creek) 7200s: Triboro (split between College Point & Spring Creek when LGA became diesel) 8500s, 9800s, and 9900s: Queens Surface (College Point)
  20. We only lost a total of 10 R62s. The 5 from the above accident, and the 5 involved in the Union Sq wreck. I was there last night. I really love how everything is starting to take shape now.
  21. Might of had something to do with it. But then again, many got reseated using seats from the 8000s
  22. 1366 is on Randall's Island 1367 was reefed 1368 was reefed 1369 was scrapped 1370 (half the car) is on Randall's Island
  23. We can barely get the SAS done in a timely manner, the bus tunnel is nothing but a pipe dream
