    Hi GojiMet86; I like your interest and I think you might enjoy this website: http://www.chicago-l.org . It's the Chicago version of nycsubway.org - L Lines, railcars old and new, present and former stations, articles on L accidents, and more.

     

    I like Chicago-L's collection of 6000 Series Photos - my favorite Chicago railcar and collection of both Loop L and Loop subway station photos.

     

    The Brown Line is particularly interesting - elevated from the Loop, the last mile or so is at street level and features a couple of actual grade crossings. Rockwell is one of these grade crossings.
