  1. Hmm, didn't know there was a Vertu store in Manhattan. Frankly, before now, I hadn't heard of Vertu. Not likely. QuiBids does more commercial products, maybe expensive jewelery. Not phones like this.
  2. LINK: http://www.zagg.com/community/blog/this-android-smartphone-is-handmade-in-england-and-costs-19900/?utm_source=Blog&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_campaign=vertu+ti Handmade in England, each unit signed by the craftsman who assembled it. The Vertu Ti is a smartphone crafted from grade 5 titanium with a sapphire crystal screen. It runs Android 4.0 and has a 8 MP camera that can capture 1080p video. Additionally, the Vertu Ti’s product page claims the smartphone’s sound system is tuned in collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra. The price of the device is not listed on the official page, but SlashGear says it’s priced as low as $9,600 for the “entry level” version and as high as $19,900 for the “Black PVD Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals” model. If you like what you see and you end up with this phone, we recommend this app. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ld5nouYGrA
  3. I saw a CNG Jeep today. First time I think I've seen one.
  4. That's great that there are that many developers preparing and launching apps for this new Blackberry. Still, I would wait the couple of months to see the reputation the phone builds (not just first impressions) before making an educated decision of switching.
  5. I've noticed, at least on QV's RTSes, that they've started putting the bus number above the front doorway. The numbers are in the same font and size like the ones on the redone NGs recently.
  6. As long as we're thinking of ideas that won't happen, might as well invest in or rent a plow attachment one winter, put it on the front of my car, and go around plowing driveways. Now that would put your snowblower out of business!
  7. I was just out on Northern Blvd. If you're at a bus stop, you're most likely standing in the street, signaling for the bus.
  8. Yeah, there are delays on routes in and out of Great Neck. We got a good amount of snow up here on the North Shore.
  9. Aren't those DSNY garbage trucks with the sort-of curved look hybrids?
  10. NICE put out a PDF on how they want the new bus stop signs to look: http://www.nicebus.com/_meta/downloads/NICE_BusStopSigns_TEMPLATE.pdf
  11. I think its still at Grand Avenue Maintenance Facility. I can't imagine it going anywhere else in the .
  12. How if its planned like Burrstone said?
  13. I don't where the deadheads I see are going, all I know is that they're coming from Flushing and going into Nassau on the LIE.
  14. My brother had the Blackberry storm, and hated it because the touchscreen calibration wasn't that good. My mom has gone through several Blackberries in the past few years and she thinks they're alright but not the greatest phones. Personally, I would like to see how the App Store turns out in a couple of months after this phone has been on the market for some time. I want to see what developers are attracted to the Blackberry API and if anything really good comes exclusive to them.
  15. The deadheads from Jamaica OOS are such as a waste. Speaking of which, I've been seeing a lot of deadheads from Flushing out to Nassau recently.
  16. Don't you have a digital camera? Maybe take a picture and upload the ORIGINIAL file, not a smaller one, to something other than Facebook because they degrade photo quality a bit.

  20. What are you talking about? Stop talking out of your ass. Only two 1800s are out of service and one is about to come back any day now if it hasn't. Only one 1800 isn't there.
