  1. It has a TU decal on the back of it, whatever number it is. And since I can't see any accident looking damage on the bus, it is definitely going to grand ave for an ICO. That and accident repair is all they do to artic in grand ave. Although they did paint a D60 in the new scheme once when the paint booth at Zerega went down.
  2. 8037 at zerega from QV with cummins all up under it...is QV really so busy that they have to send their buses here to be checked by the vendor?
  3. It was either 3837 or 3874, I can't remember
  4. Untitled by blitz2.0, on Flickr rare view...
  5. I assume that was 2422, and its sitting in Zerega. Nothing done to it yet, bu5 they just brought it out to the lift earlier this week
  6. the fat people are gonna love those...I can already hear their cries of joy to the media about how spacious and comfortable those seats are lol
  7. I would imagine that they had to do an investigation to ensure that the damage to the engine was indeed a factory defect and not just carelessness on our part. All that to make sure that they don't give us a free $100,000+ engine and transmission for no reason. But the actual process of removing and replacing the engine should take no more than 2 or three days if its the same kind of engine they took out in first place. If anything, they are waiting for all of the engine parts sent out for the investigation, to come back from the lab.
  8. 868 came to Zerega monday afternoon. Last night, it got the officially scrapped.
  9. The best sounding bus takeoff comes from anyone of them equipped with a DD6V71...
  10. that has probably been done for a while. The only D60 to have been painted at Zerega recently was 5656. And I highly doubt that it was done at Grand Ave. Reason being that the only time D60's get painted outside of Zerega is when the paint booth is down @ Zerega.
  11. 987? 987 is oos @ Zerega and it has been here for about 2 weeks. No farebox, no radio, all inner cabinets scavenged, and it's about to be officially scrapped.
  12. you do do know that the bus has to be moving if you wanna see boost pressure readings on the pro link right? And I don't see any clamps on that turbo hose either. Unless they reused the old ones(not suppose to happen) and they are just dirty. Also, make sure the clamps on the turbo itself are tight. IIRC, the turbo for the RTS is the one that has to be clocked before you install it. Some people put it on with the clamps loose to make it easier and then forget to tighten the clapms fully.
  13. its funnier that they all belong to Westfarms
  14. 5656 is still sitting in zerega. They keep stopping work on it, don't know why though...
  15. Frankenstein lives....well, kinda Untitled by blitz2.0, on Flickr
  16. any depot with a large number of crosstown or short routes
  17. so I guess she doesn't know that the manual operation of the wheelchair lift is only for emergency purposes and not for in service buses. Besides, only CRS and some road control personnel are trained to use the manual operation. They are probably right for brushing off most of her complaints.
  18. well, hopefully they split that 600 bus order between nova and new flyer. That way They'll have a decent low clearance bus for such situations.
  19. As I prepare to go to the gym, I play this as my motivation... **WARNING** he curses A LOT lol
  20. You can officially add 5656 to the list of buses painted with the new scheme. I give it another week before its back at Westfarms or wherever they decide to send it
  21. 2119 & 2075 @ zerega from storage. Don't know what they're here for though. I was under the impression that the recently revived buses for the MNRR shuttle, went to what ever depot they would be assigned to to be inspected and reinserted into service...
  22. It really is not difficult to order paint or anything else that has been cut back on lately. But the "bean counters" I refer to are the kind that make decisions, but don't see the results them unless they directly affect "the bottom line".
  23. Its all paint. Black, blue, and white. On the earlier buses, they experimented with black and blue decals over a white base. But the finial decision was to use paint for everything. And with 3 facilities painting fulltime combined with all various depot with spray booths painting parttime, I guess the bean counters cut a little too much out of the paint budget. Its all paint. 24. if the whole paint shortage thing isn't straightened out, they might not be painting NG's for a while
