gregorygrice Posted January 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2010 I have some good walkie talkies with a 10 mile range and I was wondering, if I was on a train or at GCT would I be able to listen to their radios? I've see sone railfan videos on YouTube where some uses a walkie talkie to listen to Amtrak radios while on a train.

Mainly I listen to FDNY, NYPD and MTA Bus/NYCT Bus. I listen at home.
