kaback9 Posted April 15, 2010 Share #5 Posted April 15, 2010 :tup::tup: Nice to see some shots from the slope! Also nice to see those EMD's, I'm kind of partial to them with all the problems the D9's have, there was one in HBG yard last week that looked just about ready to blow, my friend ended up getting it for power to hahahaha. gregh Posted June 21, 2010 Share #9 Posted June 21, 2010 (Q)Those are very nice shots. I went a few years ago myself and stayed at the Station Inn in Cresson also. Have you or anyone on this thread railfanned on the CP Scranton to Sunbury Subdivision or the former DL&W main between Scranton and East Stroudsburg PA? Any good spots to take photos? Need nearest towns, road/highway intersections, landmarks and time of day. Any good websites to guide me? I am going this week and would appreciate if if you have any experience railfanning here and please give me some advice. Thanks. Greg
Grand Concourse Posted June 21, 2010 Share #10 Posted June 21, 2010 Nice pics, that's one place I'd like to visit sometime in my life. Though does it get boring since it's basically the same engine type running on the curve?
PATCOman Posted June 21, 2010 Share #11 Posted June 21, 2010 Slammin pics! There is an Amtrak train which passes through there; I used to ride it to/from Pittsburgh a long time ago.
