Okay, so this is first thread off the MTA subjects. I'm in Detroit for a conferece, 3:30 PM EST, and i'm going to the mall on one of the most beautiful RTS's I have ever seen! Its a 2002 Nova-82VN with a 275 HP DDs50!!!! Just had to pull out the laptop and log on for that one! Will take lots of pics and post later!

Yeah and the ride was great too! Fare is $1.75 and you can transfer to any bus going in any direction for 4 hours! Motor city, home of the Detroit Deisel, and these are some good engines! DDOT contracts all engine work out to DD on all 254 RTS's ('95-'02) and 75 '03-'04 D40LF's. The remaining 121 '04-'05 D40LF's are Cummins powered, and also leased from New Flyer, who does all maintenace. Even body work and oil changes! Now thats what I call a lease!
