B8 Bus Replacement

Broadway Local

Recommended Posts

I want to tell you guys something that what will B8 Buses will serve in the future. When will B8 Bus will be replaced and when will B8 serve?

All I know is:

In the 1990s to I think to 2002- B8 Serves Novabus RTS

In the 2002 to Present- B8 Serves New Flyer C40LF CNG, Orion V CNG, and Orion VII CNG.

I think that B8 bus serves those bus for a long time, same as B9.

Only Long Island Bus has those NG CNGs.

If only LIB could send NYC some of those old 1997 Orion Vs with the Cummins engines in them to you.

*runs before Cummins L10G fanboys destroy him*

LMAOOOOOOOOO

I actually like that idea, instead of having them sit there, let the (MTA) get them and run them to death (literally)

If you want to know which buses are located at which depots, this roster has all the information you want. Also, if you want to know which bus fleets the (MTA) is currently using, use this roster.

In late 2011-early 2012, Jackie Gleason depot is going to get new New Flyer C40LF buses. They'll replace a sizable amount of buses the B8 currently uses.
