CTK246 Posted January 17, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2011 The FAQ says it's in my User CP, but it was a lie. How do I check?
SevenEleven Posted January 17, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2011 It is in the User CP, just hidden.
IRT Bronx Express Posted January 17, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 17, 2011 Front page of the user CP. You should see "Latest Reputation Received" on the bottom.

IRT Bronx Express Posted January 17, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 17, 2011 Because CKhaleel is a subscriber, he should see who gave him reps. It shows up for me, so...
SevenEleven Posted January 17, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 17, 2011 We get rep for welcoming people to the forums.

EE Broadway Local Posted January 17, 2011 Share #11 Posted January 17, 2011 We're a rapidly growing community. Maybe some haven't been updated recently. I don't see anything like that in my user CP, it doesn't appear you're a subscriber and neither am I.
NX Express Posted January 17, 2011 Share #12 Posted January 17, 2011 We get rep for welcoming people to the forums. Unfortunately, for most of us that's the only source of reputation. Harry should bring back the thanked post=reputation thing again.
Harry Posted January 17, 2011 Share #13 Posted January 17, 2011 Yes I'm still thinking about it. It's just there's some users who give thanks for anything.
Amtrak7 Posted January 18, 2011 Share #14 Posted January 18, 2011 Yes I'm still thinking about it. It's just there's some users who give thanks for anything. How about making points per thank and thanks per user directly proportional?
Forest Glen Posted January 18, 2011 Share #15 Posted January 18, 2011 How about making points per thank and thanks per user directly proportional? I'm not following. I thank people for two basic reasons-an insightful post or an amazing photograph. I don't arbitrarily give out thanks.
NX Express Posted January 18, 2011 Share #16 Posted January 18, 2011 How about making points per thank and thanks per user directly proportional? You mean...if a person has, say, 1,000 thanks, he gets more points on his 1,001st thank than someone who was only thanked 50 times? That would mean that there would be quite a few people with astronomical reputations.
Amtrak7 Posted January 19, 2011 Share #17 Posted January 19, 2011 You mean...if a person has, say, 1,000 thanks, he gets more points on his 1,001st thank than someone who was only thanked 50 times? That would mean that there would be quite a few people with astronomical reputations. Oops, I made a mistake, I meant inversely proportional. Each thank a person gives is worth less to the receiver than the previous one.
CTK246 Posted January 21, 2011 Author Share #18 Posted January 21, 2011 I still can't check my rep... Do I have to turn it in somewhere or something?
Harry Posted January 21, 2011 Share #19 Posted January 21, 2011 Just go to the User CP. In the center you should "New Subscribed Threads" and "Last Reputation Received" and to the right of that your points. If you do not see any reputation then that means you have not received any yet.
