Via Garibaldi 8 Posted March 6, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 6, 2011 Two of my favourites are "Slosson Ave" and "Fingerboard Rd".
EE Broadway Local Posted March 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 6, 2011  Why Slossen Road? Is it because of the name?
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted March 6, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted March 6, 2011  Why Slossen Road? Is it because of the name? A few reasons... It's funny to pronounce and I always think of a sasquatch/snowbeast when I hear it. I also notice that it's one of the few stops that's usually announced by the B/Os probably because it's a pick up point along the X10. I also like Drumgoole Rd. on the X17.
LRG Posted March 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 6, 2011 Marsh Avenue and Ring Road, the first stops for the S79, S55 and S56, my top three favorite S.I. bus routes  Luten Avenue/Eyelandt Street (Tottenville H.S.): I want to ride the school trippers on the S59 and S78 from there someday as well as the S55 and S56. Fourth Avenue/86th Street: once I arrive to that destination on the S79, my journey home is almost complete

Via Garibaldi 8 Posted March 7, 2011 Author Share #9 Posted March 7, 2011 W 181st & St Nicholas... W 167th/168th & St Nicholas... Interesting... I haven't been up there in ages. I went up there a few times when I was doing some private tutoring, but the train stations up there are crazy.

So I guess it must be something up there in the summertime? I've only been up there when it was cold and mainly by Columbia...
Mac Claire Posted March 16, 2011 Share #12 Posted March 16, 2011 I'm kinda partial to Co Op City bus stops because I lived there for so many years. During the warm weather months you can be entertained by watching all the beautiful ladies. No joke.
