Service Change Posters

I would love a D G.O. stating the following:

Planned Service Changes

(D) All Times

(D) trains will run in two sections:

1. From Norwood-205 Street, Bronx to Herald Square-34 Street, Manhattan on the (;)(D)(F)(M) platforms.

2. From Herald Square-34 Street, Manhattan on the (N)(Q)(R) platforms to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue, Brooklyn.

(F) trains and shuttle buses replace (D) service among Sixth Avenue.

How will this affect my trip?

(D) Trains will not stop at West 4 Street, Broadway-Lafayette Street, nor Grand Street.

For service to West 4 Street and Broadway-Lafayette Streets, transfer to the (F) or (M) trains.

For service to Grand Street, take the shuttle bus at West 4 Street or take the (F) to Delancey Street, transfer to the Broad Street/Chambers Street bound (J) train, get off at Bowery and walk.

(D) trains terminate at 57th/7 Av and run express to Brooklyn.

Please allow travel time.

Much appreciated if you do this for me. Thanks.

Yes, because 35th St is too narrow.

This week, it has been using 35th St from 3rd to 6th Avs.

In Addition, all East River's NY Waterway Shuttle Bus will have "East River" Wrappped Up.

Shuttle bus will follow M34 route to 6th Av, and 48th St-Lex Av portion is unchanged.

I saw tonight at Pier 79 , NYWY #175 had East River Wrapped.

Reason it wrapped up to East River Ferry, to avoid confusion from Pier 79 riders.

Yuki, please stop requesting fantasy signs. I don't have the time to make any more of them. However, feel free to request as many signs for real GO's or service changes, recent or future, as you want.

Bus stop signs take priority over GO signs.

Because of an increasing lack of time on my part, the following rules will be in effect until further notice:

Fantasy requests will only be filled if you meet ONE or more of the requirements below:

  • Have over 400 posts; OR
  • Are an administrator/moderator; OR
  • Are an employee of a transit agency/railroad; OR
  • Are a maker of signs/signatures by request on this forum; OR
  • Are a subscriber.

Only one fantasy request per 30 days per user.

Real requests (defined as current, past, or known future changes) will be made for everyone with no frequency limit.

These rules do not apply to the bus stop thread.
