Here's what's in LIB:

 

Mitchell Feild: 714, 716, 718, 720, 721, 724, 739,741,744, 7216,7218, 7219, 9857, 9862(accident), 9874, 9883,9902, 9908, 9912,9922-9924, 9926,

9931, 9952, 9991.

 

Rockville Centre:

9827 (accident),9846,9848,9863,9898

 

If any New Arrivals I will Give an Update

 

9827 and 9862 was in an accident, 9862 should be good as well as 9827

So they do have the spare parts to replace the back panel on 9827 and 9862? Do they go back into the city to be fixed up?

 

Yeah they can repair Both buses with no problem, They Have Parts for Orion V's at Both Depots since they have parts

They may end up scrapping the one with the rear pannel ripped off. No point in fixing it when its going to be retired soon.

 

what they are probably gonna do is fix it back up than scrap it...i've seen it happen a lot.

You know what, you are right. I forgot about seeing that done with a few RTS'.

 

31 loaners vs. 163 rostered Orion V's. That's 19%.

 

That being said, I would expect more RTS' to head back to Gleason for the weekday coverage.

are all the Orion V CNGs from MTA Bus in L.I going to be Veiola?

 

Some may go hack, but many of them will retire from Long Island.

 

Were any of these used for express bus service when they were in active service in NYC?

 

Yes, some were used for express service at one time or another.
