Q101 E Midtown Posted January 26, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2012 From the MTA section, but for NJT and NJ's private operators and contractors Remember: •One Riddle to be solved at a time •One guess per member at a time •Members have 24 hours to respond •After 24 hours, another riddle will be posted •After a person gets the answer, they go, and so on I'll start off. Like many NJT interstate routes, I have a few intrastate short-turn(IST for short) trips. However, what makes my IST trips different is in addition to not serving Union City(b/c my route doesn't enter there to begin with), neither of them are on the main branch and many of my IST trips head toward NYC(but don't stop there.) Who am I?
SirJokaPlaya Posted January 27, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2012 Damn good one. I'm gonna guess the 166 since it doesn't enter UC, and trips in the AM start at the first stop on Blvd East.

SirJokaPlaya Posted January 27, 2012 Share #4 Posted January 27, 2012 True. You make a good one. You said the bus doesn't go into UC, so that means the 190 is out since that bus does trips in the AM Starting and stopping at UC. I dunno.

Q101 E Midtown Posted January 28, 2012 Author Share #10 Posted January 28, 2012 Damn really? All right. I'm a route owned by belonging to an...expanding private "association". However, unlike most of my fellows routes, including some recent additions, who have fairly streamlined paths(not too many turns along its route), my route doesn't on a particular street very long, although it may back and forth along two roads. It used to have the same mainstream fleet as the other routes in my association, but now, all you'll see are "babies".

Q101 E Midtown Posted January 31, 2012 Author Share #21 Posted January 31, 2012 Actually, I'll put out a guess of my own. The 351 as operated by Community Coach. But please, no one answer QJT's riddle until B35 confirms his answer.
B35 via Church Posted January 31, 2012 Share #22 Posted January 31, 2012 yes, it was the 319.... sure the 319 is split, but it's the only NJT route where it's the only route out of a depot (egg harbor, in this case) that runs to NYC.
