MHV9218 Posted May 12, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2012 Bunch of stuff from about a week ago that I never got around to posting, starting out in the city and then heading out to Brooklyn as usual. Two buses that still surprise to see at their new depots: Oldest bus that NYC Transit operates, looking whatever the polar opposite of fresh is: With a clean ENY RTS to make up for it: The elusive FP RTSes: My man here flipped me off...stay classy FP!! Remember this at Quill: Last one: All for now, have a good one folks!
Threxx Posted May 12, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 12, 2012 Love it, but if you fan Brooklyn, you can't just do Downtown, or you're missing out...
NewFlyer 230 Posted May 12, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 12, 2012 RTS looks good hope they are around longer. Oh yeah isn't 8750 the oldest RTS in service at ECH.

Cait Sith Posted May 12, 2012 Share #6 Posted May 12, 2012 9206 & 8764....former Manhattan buses, 8764 being from 126 & 9206 being from Mannyville. Good to see both of those rolling around. I heard 8764 on the Q56 a night or two ago, she still sounds pretty good. I gotta fan Brooklyn one of these days. Excellent pics!
MHV9218 Posted May 12, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted May 12, 2012 Love it, but if you fan Brooklyn, you can't just do Downtown, or you're missing out... Very right, Downtown is just the most convenient for me coming from the city but I'll make my way around more in the future. Gotta get back to Flatbush, spent a whole summer there and now it's been close to a year since I've been. RTS looks good hope they are around longer. Oh yeah isn't 8750 the oldest RTS in service at ECH. Yeah, MTA Bus is still running 8750 and 8756 (until LGA kills it) but 8764 is the oldest bus that MTA NYC Transit has in service. Outstanding pics! Love the shots of 517 and 8764! Excellent Thanks fellas! 9206 & 8764....former Manhattan buses, 8764 being from 126 & 9206 being from Mannyville. Yessir, ENY still has a few buses I remember from 126th, namely 8764 and 8813 that I remember in the city. FP with 9206 and 9219, good MHV buses back in the day. 8764 was running really hard when I saw it, looks like a good bus. Yeah make your way over when you can, Downtown Brooklyn probably has the most interesting buses per sq. foot of just about anywhere in the city, everything except for D60HFs represented. Thanks as well!
