Fred G Posted August 17, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2008 I found my way to Astoria on Saturday morning and found both R68's and R160's on the N. There was other cool stuff going on as well, so here is round 1 of Saturday's fanning. Bonus: The Gang of Six Thanks for viewing!

Fred G Posted August 17, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted August 17, 2008 LOL, I'll tell you about that P&W shot. If I'd have stayed at Ditmars for 5 more minutes, I'd have caught them right there. But no... I didn't even hear them. I think they motor through there every Saturday. They bring crushed stone from CT and return light or with some other freight, not sure. Thanks for the heads up. Around what time did you catch them?
Fred G Posted August 18, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted August 18, 2008 I caught that shot at 11.25. I have no firm idea but they do run a schedule up this way so I'd think it'd be same.

Were any of them those 6000 hp monsters? You can sorta tell them apart by the radiator enclosure, but some have a similar looking one. - Andy
