Why you shouldn't drive slowly in the left lane

It is genetically bred into every New Yorker to do 40 mph in the left lane.

You're kidding me right? New Yorkers don't even know what a speed limit is unless there is highway patrol around. Belt Parkway for example has a speed limit of 50 yet people be doing 65-75 on the left lane when given the chance.

And don't forget, there's youtube channel called LI Dash Camera, where professional car driver uses his dashboard camera to record "Bad Drivers of Long Island, well as he did his segment on San Juan Puerto Rico, too.

According to his video, most of drivers in LIE abuse HOV Lane and drive slow on HOV Lane, or cutting in line for exit.

Hasn't the left lane always been known to be the "fast lane"? I do 65 on the Grand Central Parkway. Same goes for the Cross Island and the Whitestone Expressway.
