I'm not sure if Ulmer Park has enough spares after losing one local bus. Also, the 2011 bus fleet, part of the Bus Evaluation Program, now has at least one or more buses retired due to incidents or reaching the maximum mileage.

Ulmer Park should be okay minus that one XD-40 due to the recent incident (7565 is OOS but still have enough units). The B6 takes up most of their standards in fleet total. By calculation to how buses each route is used at the standard pool, they have 20-26 units leftover in each rush hour.

4664: Manhattanville, pending retirement due to unavailability of Orion parts.

4668 from Manhattanville is also out of service.

What parts is it missing? That’s an interesting reason to retire a bus, but I guess it makes sense.

I do question the accuracy of that report, but I can see that happening. The bus was on loan to Tuskegee and it last ran 3 days ago.

We will have to wait and see what happens. Because if there were available parts, they would've gotten parts from the retired NGs at Eastchester scrap.

30 is at JFK Depot. 2 is left at LGA Depot.

In over all there are 32 remaining in the system for MTA Bus.

34, if you count 3500 and 3702 in training at Zerega. However, that will not last long.

With Next Gen unit 4140 back at JFK after service at Eastchester, 3761 (BP to JFK removed from passenger service) is now retired waiting to be towed to scrap. This unit has no  Farebox and parts removed.

4664 is NOT RETIRED yet, it was operating on the M98 Limited earlier this morning.
