Another Subway Surfing leads to death 14 year old dead on the F Line...

It is sad and pathetic that the “future” generation has nothing better to do than to just engage in risky behavior and take themselves out. What doesn’t help is some of these so called community leaders and city leaders want to point the finger to the (MTA) as if they are doing something wrong when in fact its the fault of these incompetent parents who need to get thrown in jail for neglect and not doing their jobs with keeping tabs on their trouble making kids. Then when these kids end up hurt or in trouble everyone’s favorite line was “so and so was a good kid”. How can so and so be good when they were breaking into train cabs and surfing on top of trains in parts of the system they have no business being in?

Its a shame and that old argument "kids will be kids" is played out now..

This kid was most likely part of that same group that we called in all the time on the (F) line..

Other trains would see them call it in the next stop they would get off the train laughing..

I wonder if any of them was laughing when they saw their friend fall off that train?

At least they stayed and talked to the Police unlike the losers on the (J) and (7) who bolted and acted like they wasn't even there..

The blame should go on social media platforms, they can’t take down any videos related to subway surfing, teenagers are condoning this behavior, thinking they’re tuff and cool….

Not only do a lot of these kids in these later generations not respect authority figures nor their elders, a lot of them simply don't value life....  And it's apparently getting worse with each passing generation.... Blank thousand yard stares; empty looks of soullessness... Nothing much that they feel like they have to look forward to (other than instant gratification & validation anyway).... I'll ease up on the psycho-analytical stuff for now & will simply say that I honestly don't know whether to feel despondent or flat out angry in reading/hearing about all these train surfing incidents as of late.... Scary/coincidental part is, I JUST got through watching a video on youtube titled "Teachers Are SICK Of Dumb Gen Alpha Kids" before I checked to see if there are any new posts made on the forum here in the past hour or so....

There's PLENTY of finger pointing at the MTA to go around, regarding other unrelated matters.... To me, this simply isn't one of them.... You can only do but so much saving people from themselves.

People want this to end but be voting for politicians who make sure they can't touch these animals .

This city has one of the most dumbest policies. They'll call ACS on you for the dumbest things but yet ACS won't go after the parents of these bastards who do things like this.

And I agree, These kids don't value life. They Just don't and they get worse as they get older.

All of this would be curbed if you slap them with federal charges. IDGAF if they are minors, you set an example. Lock them up for a good 4 years and they'll learn.

We can't keep feeling sorry for bastards, The Parents co sign with this shit and people make excuses claiming these kids are bored which is bullshit. These new generation of teens are just weird.
