kngmn Posted February 19, 2009 Share #11 Posted February 19, 2009 how would you feel if R62A come back to 6 line. and R62A get another chance to run on 6 line. first R62A #1651 - #2475 need to be rebuilded in 2009 of fall season - 2010. when R62A get rebuilded. than it will be better that R62A run back on the 6 line. all 6 line will get #1651 - #2020. #1901 - #1905 will become 5 car unit? when R62a get rebuilded in fall of 2009 - 2010? #2021 - #2155 will go to liviona yard of 3 line? i say all R62's should get rebuilded at 207 street overhaul shop. R62 need to get good quality change of it interior and change the seat and have new air conditioner (that will work for another 20 years) when R62A get rebuilded and when R62A get retired and dont run into service. i would change the seat and replace the bucket seat on R62A #1901 , #2011 , #2077 , #1988 , #2110 , #1919 , (#1651 - #1660 , #2471 - #2475 , #1696 - #1765 , #1326 - #1375 and have good look of it seat and change of the interior) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That is an abandoned exit I think and the shot the Brighton Local was talking about is the one with the train coming into Queensboro Plaza. What is kngmn talking about anyway? kngmn Posted February 19, 2009 Share #14 Posted February 19, 2009 i am talking about. if R62's do get rebuilded by fall of 2009 - 2010. that i will like. but everybody is talking about that R142A will go to 7 line that will come of the 6 line. #7731 - #7810 is CBTC cability. not #7211 - #7670 CBTC yet. i just want R62A to be rebuilded. i want the interior ( inside the car) to be changed. the bucket seat to be replaced . put the same seat as R142A to be put on R62A #1651 - #2155. the rebuilding of R62A will be good for 20 years. my favor is rebuilding of R62A that will be completed by 2010 or 2011 should run on 6 line the seat ( similar to R142's) that you saw R62A #2153 was put on summer 2008 or 2007. there is no point giving away R142A of 6 line be give away to 7 line. just send #7621 - #7810 to 7 line with CBTC capable to be. dont give away all R142's to 7 line.
