GreeneggsnPelham Posted October 14, 2011 Share #19 Posted October 14, 2011 Excellent photos! Is the photo of the wall blocking the trackway the "false wall" on the express tracks at 2 Avenue? I've never seen a photo of it before and have never visited the station.
GojiMet86 Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share #20 Posted October 14, 2011 Very good stuff you have over there! You must have had an epic trip! Thanks! I did have an epic trip. Good ones. Thanks! Very nice collection of photos! What and where is that R-110 sign in photo 7? Thanks! It's located on the downtown ( and track at Rockefeller Center. It's close to the south end, and it faces the track, not the platform. I think it might have been intendedn for when the R110B ran, but I only know it ran on the and lines. sounds like a great trip, very nice photos It was a great trip! Thanks! Nice trip and pictures!! Thanks! Excellent pics  Thanks! Great set of photos. Thanks! Excellent photos! Is the photo of the wall blocking the trackway the "false wall" on the express tracks at 2 Avenue? I've never seen a photo of it before and have never visited the station. Thanks! I believe that is the wall. I actually imagined it be more, well, wall-ish, but I guess it does the job. GreeneggsnPelham Posted October 15, 2011 Share #21 Posted October 15, 2011 Thanks! I believe that is the wall. I actually imagined it be more, well, wall-ish, but I guess it does the job. Yeah me too! The way it's described online and in "Tracks of the NYC Subway", I expected it to be at the very end of the platform, giving the illusion of a stub-end situation for the express tracks. But yeah, it does the job. Also, is there anything further than the bumpers at 207 St? It looks like the tunnels goes on for a little bit. Oh, and look at those two pigeons at Lefferts!! They need the train too! -A
