NIce pics and videos! I see that the farebox is not working as yet on 5394.......

Im glad the artics are finally coming to  the Q111/113/114.  Its a PITA letting 2-3 buses go by at 11pm on a weekday night due to the crowds...

I'll admit, they do look nice on the street.  But also agree with the idea that the blue-scheme is a bit too dark and overpowering.

Disappointed that the same old white-pressed wheels are being used, instead of the Alcoa Dura-Bright which would add just that little extra to the whole "makeover" of the bus exterior.  And given that MTA's fleet gets a regular wash, those wheels would be looking sharp pretty much all the time.

Also disappointed that the MTA is keeping on with that horrid safety yellow on the rails -- jeez, at least try the old standby of stainless steel (easier to keep clean and give the appearance of being clean).  And what about scrapping those plastic seats for the American Seating Vision ones, which are the best against vandalism?  They're comfortable enough, would look sharper for this "new scheme", plus can put up with tough use for years.

Nice from the streetside, but any other differences?  Looks like same old, same old otherwise.

They abandoned Alcoa after they had issues with the rims cutting into the tires years ago. We were close to going back when we had 3 Orion VII Hybrids with them after an overhaul, but it didn't pass.
