  1. Like its easy to get rid of buses for newer ones in a very short time. Buses are being brought back from the dead A LOT replacing the so called "NEW AND MORE RELIABLE" buses these days. Like it or not, the RTS and Orion V's ain't going nowhere for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if the remaining RTS and Orion V's last until the end of the decade.
  2. I wouldn't be smiling for jack s***. With the way buses are built today, I wouldn't be looking forward for a brand new order, especially from New Flyer. Them XD40's, XD60's, and the new C40LF's are loud rattlers considering their age and don't give me that crap of maintenance issues. I been on older D60HF's that aren't rattlers and hell, I've roden RTS that are in WAY better condition than the newer buses in the city.
  3. So much for a Orion V/VII exclusive borough. Yukon getting back RTS. Wonder if those will die over there.
  4. Which makes me question why were cars 1651-1670 are singles after having full width cabs if they are probably next in getting full width cabs again. Guess it was just a last minute thing or some sort.
  5. I think that's more of a personal thing rather than something to share here man. Please keep things on topic and not about what couples do please. I think that is kind of rude from you part.
  6. Guess Westchester yard's pleas were heard. Anyway time to move on. Were they on the when you spotted them?
  7. I could see that for 3610-3611, but not for 8377-8380. I had that train on the last Wednesday.
  8. R32 cars 3610-3611 are back at 207 Street yard and R160 cars 8377-8380 are back at ENY Yard.
  9. At Broadway & Battery Place!

  10. Aright people, this is supposed to be about buses, not an argument about washing your damn hands! Can anyone put this thread back on topic PLEASE!
  11. I could of sworn I saw an MJQ RTS on the M4 earlier today and no I didn't see it where the M98 joins the M4. I must be seeing things.
  12. Hmm. It was sitting there by itself with no other half attached to it. 1741-1745 is coupled with 1746-1750 again while 1721-1725 are coupled with 2191-2195. 1731-1735 are the current spares at Westchester yard.
  13. R62A's 2146-2150 made their way to 207 Street yard. Looks fishy to me.
  14. Saw them on a lot of RTS' in Brooklyn as well as some of KB's Orion V's. Most of Gun Hill's Xcelsior Artics got the Hostage ad treatment.
  15. New Jersey Transit's newest acquisition!

  17. 2124 at Meredith. Saw it on the X12. The bus had no depot sticker on the back, but it had a piece of an Ulmer Park depot sticker on the front side.
  18. An updated NYC Subway map is up as of August 2013. Saw it on a couple of R160's from Coney Island and Jamaica yards. Here's the link: http://www.mta.info/maps/submap.html
  19. What garage are routes 746 and 748 part of? BTW I saw 7915 from Wayne deadheading into Market St garage the other night.
  20. Nah. There are a lot of people that take the Q53 from Woodside or ride it to Woodside. If there wasn't demand over there, then the Q53 would be terminating at Jackson Heights in the first place.
  21. Well, yes they are. Every time a R160 on the comes, people jump on board, even the Riders. But when an R32 comes in, people wait for the next one. This is from my personal experience.
